2nd-Thessalonians 1:1Paul, and Silvanus, and Timothy, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ; Paul and Silvanus and Timothy, to the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:Paul and Silvanus and Timotheus to the assembly of Thessalonians in God our Father and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.Paul, and Sylvanus, and Timothy, to the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
2nd-Thessalonians 1:2Grace to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.Grace to you, and peace from God our Father, and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.Grace unto you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
2nd-Thessalonians 1:3We are bound to give thanks to God always to you, brethren, even as it is meet, for that your faith growth exceedingly, and the love of each one of you all toward one another aboundeth; It is right for us to give praise to God at all times for you, brothers, because of the great increase of your faith, and the wealth of your love for one another;We ought to thank God always for you, brethren, even as it is meet, because your faith increases exceedingly, and the love of each one of you all towards one another abounds;We are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you towards each other, aboundeth:
2nd-Thessalonians 1:4so that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which ye endure; So that we ourselves take pride in you in the churches of God for your untroubled mind and your faith in all the troubles and sorrows which you are going through;so that we ourselves make our boast in you in the assemblies of God for your endurance and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations, which ye are sustaining;So that we ourselves also glory in you in the churches of God, for your patience and faith, and in all your persecutions and tribulations, which you endure,
2nd-Thessalonians 1:5[which is] a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God; to the end that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: Which is a clear sign of the decision which God in his righteousness has made; to give you a part in his kingdom, for which you have undergone this pain;a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, to the end that ye should be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for the sake of which ye also suffer;For an example of the just judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which also you suffer.
2nd-Thessalonians 1:6if so be that it is righteous thing with God to recompense affliction to them that afflict you, For it is an act of righteousness on God's part to give trouble as their reward to those who are troubling you,if at least [it is a] righteous thing with God to render tribulation to those that trouble you,Seeing it is a just thing with God to repay tribulation to them that trouble you:
2nd-Thessalonians 1:7and to you that are afflicted rest with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the angels of his power in flaming fire, And to you who are troubled, rest with us, when the Lord Jesus comes from heaven with the angels of his power in flames of fire,and to you that are troubled repose with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven, with [the] angels of his power,And to you who are troubled, rest with us when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven, with the angels of his power:
2nd-Thessalonians 1:8rendering vengeance to them that know not God, and to them that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus: To give punishment to those who have no knowledge of God, and to those who do not give ear to the good news of our Lord Jesus:in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who know not God, and those who do not obey the glad tidings of our Lord Jesus Christ;In a flame of fire, giving vengeance to them who know not God, and who obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2nd-Thessalonians 1:9who shall suffer punishment, [even] eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might, Whose reward will be eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his strength,who shall pay the penalty [of] everlasting destruction from [the] presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his might,Who shall suffer eternal punishment in destruction, from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of his power:
2nd-Thessalonians 1:10when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be marvelled at in all them that believed (because our testimony unto you was believed) in that day. At his coming, when he will have glory in his saints, and will be a cause of wonder in all those who had faith (because our witness among you had effect) in that day.when he shall have come to be glorified in his saints, and wondered at in all that have believed, (for our testimony to you has been believed,) in that day.When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be made wonderful in all them who have believed; because our testimony was believed upon you in that day.
2nd-Thessalonians 1:11To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfil every desire of goodness and [every] work of faith, with power; For this reason, you are ever in our prayers, that you may seem to our God such as may have a part in his purpose and that by his power he will make all his good purpose, and the work of faith, complete;To which end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of the calling, and fulfil all [the] good pleasure of [his] goodness and [the] work of faith with power,Wherefore also we pray always for you; that our God would make you worthy of his vocation, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness and the work of faith in power;
2nd-Thessalonians 1:12that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. So that glory may be given to the name of our Lord Jesus through you, and you may have glory in him, by the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.so that the name of our Lord Jesus [Christ] may be glorified in you and *ye* in him, according to the grace of our God, and of [the] Lord Jesus Christ.That the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God, and of the Lord Jesus Christ.
