| Psalms 75:1 | We give thanks unto thee, O God; We give thanks, for thy name is near: Men tell of thy wondrous works. | <To the chief music-maker; put to Al-tashheth. A Psalm. Of Asaph. A Song.> To you, O God, we give praise, to you we give praise: and those who give honour to your name make clear your works of power. | {To the chief Musician. 'Destroy not.' A Psalm of Asaph: a Song.} Unto thee we give thanks, O God, we give thanks; and thy name is near: thy marvellous works declare it. | Unto the end, in praises, a psalm for Asaph: a canticle to the Assyrians. |
| Psalms 75:2 | When I shall find the set time, I will judge uprightly. | When the right time has come, I will be the judge in righteousness. | When I shall receive the assembly, I will judge with equity. | In Judea God is known: his name is great in Israel. |
| Psalms 75:3 | The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I have set up the pillars of it. Selah | When the earth and all its people become feeble, I am the support of its pillars. (Selah.) | The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I have established its pillars. Selah. | And his place is in peace: and his abode in Sion: |
| Psalms 75:4 | I said unto the arrogant, Deal not arrogantly; And to the wicked, Lift not up the horn: | I say to the men of pride, Let your pride be gone: and to the sinners, Let not your horn be lifted up. | I said unto the boastful, Boast not; and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn: | There hath he broken the powers of bows, the shield, the sword, and the battie. |
| Psalms 75:5 | Lift not up your horn on high; Speak not with a stiff neck. | Let not your horn be lifted up: let no more words of pride come from your outstretched necks. | Lift not up your horn on high; speak not arrogantly with a [stiff] neck. | Thou enlightenest wonderfully from the everlasting hills. |
| Psalms 75:6 | For neither from the east, nor from the west, Nor yet from the south, [cometh] lifting up. | For honour does not come from the east, or from the west, or uplifting from the south; | For not from the east nor from the west, nor yet from the south doth exaltation [come]: | All the foolish of heart were troubled. They have slept their sleep; and all the men of riches have found nothing in their hands. |
| Psalms 75:7 | But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and lifteth up another. | But God is the judge, putting down one, and lifting up another. | For God is the judge; he putteth down one and exalteth another. | At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, they have all slumbered that mounted on horseback. |
| Psalms 75:8 | For in the hand of Jehovah there is a cup, and the wine foameth; It is full of mixture, and he poureth out of the same: Surely the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall drain them, and drink them. | For in the hand of the Lord is a cup, and the wine is red; it is well mixed, overflowing from his hand: he will make all the sinners of the earth take of it, even to the last drop. | For in the hand of Jehovah there is a cup, and it foameth with wine, it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same; yea, the dregs thereof shall all the wicked of the earth drain off, [and] drink. | Thou art terrible, and who shall resist thee? from that time thy wrath. |
| Psalms 75:9 | But I will declare for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. | But I will ever be full of joy, making songs of praise to the God of Jacob. | But as for me, I will declare for ever; I will sing psalms to the God of Jacob. | Thou hast caused judgment to be heard from heaven: the earth trembled and was still, |
| Psalms 75:10 | All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; But the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up. Psalm 76 For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments. A Psalm of Asaph, a song. | By him will all the horns of the sinners be cut off; but the horns of the upright will be lifted up. | And all the horns of the wicked will I cut off; [but] the horns of the righteous shall be exalted. | When God arose in judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. |
