Psalms 43:1Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: Oh deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man. Be my judge, O God, supporting my cause against a nation without religion; O keep me from the false and evil man.Unto the end, for the sons of Core, to give understanding.Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; deliver me from the deceitful and unrighteous man.
Psalms 43:2For thou art the God of my strength; why hast thou cast me off? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? You are the God of my strength; why have you put me from you? why do I go in sorrow because of the attacks of my haters? We have heard, O God, with our ears : our fathers have declared to us, The work, thou hast wrought in their days, and in the days of old.For thou art the God of my strength: why hast thou cast me off? why go I about mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
Psalms 43:3Oh send out thy light and thy truth; let them lead me: Let them bring me unto thy holy hill, And to thy tabernacles. O send out your light and your true word; let them be my guide: let them take me to your holy hill, and to your tents.Thy hand destroyed the Gentiles, and thou plantedst them : thou didst afflict the people and cast them out.Send out thy light and thy truth: *they* shall lead me, *they* shall bring me to thy holy mount, and unto thy habitations.
Psalms 43:4Then will I go unto the altar of God, Unto God my exceeding joy; And upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God. Then I will go up to the altar of God, to the God of my joy; I will be glad and give praise to you on an instrument of music, O God, my God.For they got not the possession of the land by their own sword : neither did their own arm save them. But thy right hand and thy arm, and the light of thy countenance : because thou wast pleased with them. Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto the ùGod of the gladness of my joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God.
Psalms 43:5Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, [Who is] the help of my countenance, and my God. Psalm 44 For the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of the sons of Korah. Maschil. Why are you crushed down, O my soul? and why are you troubled in me? put your hope in God, for I will again give him praise who is my help and my God.Thou art thyself my king and my God, who commandest the saving of Jacob. Why art thou cast down, my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God; for I shall yet praise him, [who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.
