Selah For the weight of your hand was on me day and night; my body became dry like the earth in summer. (Selah.)For the word of the Lord is right, and all his works are done with faithfulness. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
Psalms 32:5I acknowledged my sin unto thee, And mine iniquity did I not hide: I said, I will confess my transgressions unto Jehovah; And thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah I made my wrongdoing clear to you, and did not keep back my sin. I said, I will put it all before the Lord; and you took away my wrongdoing and my sin. (Selah.)He loveth mercy and judgment; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
Psalms 32:6For this let every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: Surely when the great waters overflow they shall not reach unto him. For this cause let every saint make his prayer to you at a time when you are near: then the overflowing of the great waters will not overtake him.By the word of the Lord the heavens were established; and all the power of them by the spirit of his mouth:For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
Psalms 32:7Thou art my hiding-place; thou wilt preserve me from trouble; Thou wilt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah You are my safe and secret place; you will keep me from trouble; you will put songs of salvation on the lips of those who are round me. (Selah.)Gathering together the waters of the sea, as in a vessel; laying up the depths in storehouses.Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Psalms 32:8I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will counsel thee with mine eye upon thee. I will give you knowledge, teaching you the way to go; my eye will be your guide.Let all the earth fear the Lord, and let all the inhabitants of the world be in awe of him.I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalms 32:9Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding; Whose trappings must be bit and bridle to hold them in, [Else] they will not come near unto thee. Do not be like the horse or the ass, without sense; ...For he spoke and they were made: he commanded and they were created.Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
Psalms 32:10Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he that trusteth in Jehovah, lovingkindness shall compass him about. The sinner will be full of trouble; but mercy will be round the man who has faith in the Lord. The Lord bringeth to naught the counsels of nations; and he rejecteth the devices of people, and casteth away the counsels of princes. Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
