| Psalms 76:1 | In Judah is God known: His name is great in Israel. | <To the chief music-maker; put to Neginoth. A Psalm. Of Asaph. A Song.> | Unto the end, for Idithun, a psalm of Asaph. | To the Overseer with stringed instruments. A Psalm of Asaph. A Song. In Judah [is] God known, in Israel His name [is] great. |
| Psalms 76:2 | In Salem also is his tabernacle, And his dwelling-place in Zion. | In Judah is the knowledge of God; his name is great in Israel, | I cried to the Lord with my voice; to God with my voice, and he gave ear to me. | And His tabernacle is in Salem, And His habitation in Zion. |
| Psalms 76:3 | There he brake the arrows of the bow; The shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah | In Salem is his tent, his resting-place in Zion. | In the day of my trouble I sought God, with my hands lifted up to him in the night, and I was not deceived. (Selah.) | Or will God forget to shew mercy? or will he in his anger shut up his mercies? | For the fierceness of man praiseth Thee, The remnant of fierceness Thou girdest on. |
