| 1st-Corinthians 9:1 | Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? | 1st-Corinthians 9:2 | If to others I am not an apostle, yet at least I am to you; for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord. | If to others I am not an Apostle, at least I am one to you: for the fact that you are Christians is the sign that I am an Apostle. | If to other men I am not an Apostle, yet at any rate I am one to you; for your very existence as a Christian Church is the seal of my Apostleship. | And if unto others I be not an apostle, but yet to you I am. Is it for the oxen that God is giving orders? | For in the Law of Moses it is written, "Thou shalt not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain." | For it is written in the law of Moses: Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? |

Nevertheless we did not use this right; but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ. | If others have a part in this right over you, have we not even more? But we did not make use of our right, so that we might put nothing in the way of the good news of Christ. | If other teachers possess that right over you, do not we possess it much more? That preaching the gospel, I may deliver the gospel without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel. |
