| Isaiah 10:1 | Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers that write perverseness; | Cursed are those who make evil decisions, and the writers who make the records of their cruel acts: | | Woe to them that make wicked laws: and when they write, write injustice: |
| Isaiah 10:2 | to turn aside the needy from justice, and to rob the poor of my people of their right, that widows may be their spoil, and that they may make the fatherless their prey! | Who do wrong to the poor in their cause, and take away the right of the crushed among my people, so that they may have the property of widows, and get under their power those who have no father. | | To oppress the poor in judgment, and do violence to the cause of the humble of my people: that widows might be their prey, and that they might rob the fatherless. |
