Proverbs 15:5A fool despiseth his father's correction; But he that regardeth reproof getteth prudence. A foolish man puts no value on his father's training; but he who has respect for teaching has good sense.A fool despises his father's correction, But he who heeds reproof shows prudence.A fool laugheth at the instruction of his father: but he that regardeth reproofs shall become prudent. In abundant justice there is the greatest strength: but the devices of the wicked shall be rooted out.
Proverbs 15:6In the house of the righteous is much treasure; But in the revenues of the wicked is trouble. In the house of the upright man there is a great store of wealth; but in the profits of the sinner there is trouble. In the house of the righteous is much treasure, But the income of the wicked brings trouble. The house of the just is very much strength: and in the fruits of the wicked is trouble.
Proverbs 15:7The lips of the wise disperse knowledge; But the heart of the foolish [doeth] not so. The lips of the wise keep knowledge, but the heart of the foolish man is not right. The lips of the wise spread knowledge; Not so with the heart of fools. The lips of the wise shall disperse knowledge: the heart of fools shall be unlike.
Proverbs 15:8The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to Jehovah; But the prayer of the upright is his delight. The offering of the evil-doer is disgusting to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright man is his delight. The sacrifice made by the wicked is an abomination to Yahweh, But the prayer of the upright is his delight. The victims of the wicked are abominable to the Lord: the vows of the just are acceptable.

Proverbs 15:17Better is a dinner of herbs, where love is, Than a stalled ox and hatred therewith. Proverbs 15:18A wrathful man stirreth up contention; But he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife. An angry man makes men come to blows, but he who is slow to get angry puts an end to fighting.A wrathful man stirs up contention, But one who is slow to anger appeases strife.A passionate man stirreth up strifes: he that is patient appeaseth those that are stirred up.
Proverbs 15:19The way of the sluggard is as a hedge of thorns; But the path of the upright is made a highway. Thorns are round the way of the hater of work; but the road of the hard worker becomes a highway. The way of the sluggard is like a thorn patch, But the path of the upright is a highway. The way of the slothful is as a hedge of thorns; the way of the just is without offence.
