| Job 13:1 | Lo, mine eye hath seen all [this], Mine ear hath heard and understood it. | Truly, my eye has seen all this, word of it has come to my ear, and I have knowledge of it. | "Behold, my eye has seen all this, My ear has heard and understood it. | Lo, all hath mine eye seen, Heard hath mine ear, and it attendeth to it. |
| Job 13:2 | What ye know, [the same] do I know also: I am not inferior unto you. | The same things are in my mind as in yours; I am equal to you. | What you know, I know also. I am not inferior to you. | According to your knowledge I have known also I. I am not fallen more than you. |
| Job 13:3 | Surely I would speak to the Almighty, And I desire to reason with God. | But I would have talk with the Ruler of all, and my desire is to have an argument with God. | "Surely I would speak to the Almighty. I desire to reason with God. | Yet I for the Mighty One do speak, And to argue for God I delight. |

| Job 13:5 | Oh that ye would altogether hold your peace! And it would be your wisdom. | If only you would keep quiet, it would be a sign of wisdom! | Oh that you would be completely silent! Then you would be wise. | O that ye would keep perfectly silent, And it would be to you for wisdom. |

And for Him do ye speak deceit? |

| Job 13:9 | Is it good that he should search you out? Or as one deceiveth a man, will ye deceive him? | Will it be good for you to be searched out by him, or have you the thought that he may be guided into error like a man? | Is it good that he should search you out? Or as one deceives a man, will you deceive him? | Is [it] good that He doth search you, If, as one mocketh at a man, ye mock at Him? |
