Psalms 80:3Turn us again, O God; And cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved. Psalms 80:4O Jehovah God of hosts, How long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people? O Lord God of armies, how long will your wrath be burning against the rest of your people?Jehovah, God of Hosts, till when? Thou hast burned against the prayer of Thy people.Blow up the trumpet on the new moon, on the noted day of your solemnity.
Psalms 80:5Thou hast fed them with the bread of tears, And given them tears to drink in large measure. You have given them the bread of weeping for food; for their drink you have given them sorrow in great measure.Thou hast caused them to eat bread of tears, And causest them to drink With tears a third time. For it is a commandment in Israel, and a judgment to the God of Jacob.
Psalms 80:6Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbors; And our enemies laugh among themselves. You make us a cause of war among our neighbours; our haters are laughing at us among themselves.Thou makest us a strife to our neighbors, And our enemies mock at it.He ordained it for a testimony in Joseph, when he came out of the land of Egypt: he heard a tongue which he knew not.

You took a vine out of Egypt: driving out the nations, and planting it in their land.A vine out of Egypt Thou dost bring, Thou dost cast out nations, and plantest it.Thou calledst upon me in affliction, and I delivered thee: I heard thee in the secret place of tempest: I proved thee at the waters of contradiction.
Psalms 80:9Thou preparedst [room] before it, And it took deep root, and filled the land. You made ready a place for it, so that it might take deep root, and it sent out its branches over all the land.Thou hast looked before it, and dost root it, And it filleth the land,Hear, O my people, and I will testify to thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken to me,
Psalms 80:10The mountains were covered with the shadow of it, And the boughs thereof were [like] cedars of God. The mountains were covered with its shade, and the great trees with its branches.Covered have been hills [with] its shadow, And its boughs [are] cedars of God.there shall be no new god in thee: neither shalt thou adore a strange god.
Psalms 80:11It sent out its branches unto the sea, And its shoots unto the River. It sent out its arms to the Sea, and its branches to the River. It sendeth forth its branches unto the sea, And unto the river its sucklings. For I am the Lord thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.
Psalms 80:12Why hast thou broken down its walls, So that all they that pass by the way do pluck it? Psalms 80:15And the stock which thy right hand planted, And the branch that thou madest strong for thyself. Even to the tree which was planted by your right hand, and to the branch which you made strong for yourself. And the root that Thy right hand planted, And the branch Thou madest strong for Thee,I should soon have humbled their enemies, and laid my hand on them that troubled them.
Psalms 80:16It is burned with fire, it is cut down: They perish at the rebuke of thy countenance. It is burned with fire; it is cut down: they are made waste by the wrath of your face.Burnt with fire cut down, From the rebuke of Thy face they perish. The enemies of the Lord have lied to him: and their time shall be for ever.
Psalms 80:17Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, Upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.
