Proverbs 6:1My son, if thou art become surety for thy neighbor, If thou hast stricken thy hands for a stranger; My son, if you have made yourself responsible for your neighbour, or given your word for another,My son! if thou hast been surety for thy friend, Hast stricken for a stranger thy hand,My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,
Proverbs 6:2Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, Thou art taken with the words of thy mouth. You are taken as in a net by the words of your mouth, the sayings of your lips have overcome you.Hast been snared with sayings of thy mouth, Hast been captured with sayings of thy mouth,Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
Proverbs 6:3Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, Seeing thou art come into the hand of thy neighbor: Go, humble thyself, and importune thy neighbor; Do this, my son, and make yourself free, because you have come into the power of your neighbour; go without waiting, and make a strong request to your neighbour.Do this now, my son, and be delivered, For thou hast come into the hand of thy friend. Go, trample on thyself, and strengthen thy friend,Do this now, my son, deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend.
Proverbs 6:4Give not sleep to thine eyes, Nor slumber to thine eyelids; Give no sleep to your eyes, or rest to them;Give not sleep to thine eyes, And slumber to thine eyelids,Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids.

Proverbs 6:8Provideth her bread in the summer, And gathereth her food in the harvest. Proverbs 6:11So shall thy poverty come as a robber, And thy want as an armed man. Proverbs 6:12A worthless person, a man of iniquity, Is he that walketh with a perverse mouth; A good-for-nothing man is an evil-doer; he goes on his way causing trouble with false words;A man of worthlessness, a man of iniquity, Walking [with] perverseness of mouth,A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.
Proverbs 6:13That winketh with his eyes, that speaketh with his feet, That maketh signs with his fingers; Making signs with his eyes, rubbing with his feet, and giving news with his fingers;Winking with his eyes, speaking with his feet, Directing with his fingers,He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
Proverbs 6:14In whose heart is perverseness, Who deviseth evil continually, Who soweth discord. His mind is ever designing evil: he lets loose violent acts.Frowardness [is] in his heart, devising evil at all times, Contentions he sendeth forth.Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.
Proverbs 6:15Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; On a sudden shall he be broken, and that without remedy. For this cause his downfall will be sudden; quickly he will be broken, and there will be no help for him.Therefore suddenly cometh his calamity, Instantly he is broken and no healing.Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.

Proverbs 6:19A false witness that uttereth lies, And he that soweth discord among brethren. Proverbs 6:26For on account of a harlot [a man is brought] to a piece of bread; And the adulteress hunteth for the precious life. Proverbs 6:28Or can one walk upon hot coals, And his feet not be scorched? Or may one go on lighted coals, and his feet not be burned?Doth a man walk on the hot coals, And are his feet not scorched?Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?
Proverbs 6:29So he that goeth in to his neighbor's wife; Whosoever toucheth her shall not be unpunished. So it is with him who goes in to his neighbour's wife; he who has anything to do with her will not go free from punishment.So [is] he who hath gone in unto the wife of his neighbour, None who doth touch her is innocent.So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.
Proverbs 6:30Men do not despise a thief, if he steal To satisfy himself when he is hungry: Men do not have a low opinion of a thief who takes food when he is in need of it:They do not despise the thief, When he stealeth to fill his soul when he is hungry,Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;
Proverbs 6:31But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; He shall give all the substance of his house. Proverbs 6:32He that committeth adultery with a woman is void of understanding: He doeth it who would destroy his own soul.
