Psalms 50:1The Mighty One, God, Jehovah, hath spoken, And called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof. <A Psalm. Of Asaph.> The God of gods, even the Lord, has sent out his voice, and the earth is full of fear; from the coming up of the sun to its going down.A Psalm of Asaph. The God of gods Jehovah hath spoken, And He calleth to the earth From the rising of the sun unto its going in.A Psalm of Asaph. The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising to the setting of the sun.
Psalms 50:2Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined forth. From Zion, most beautiful of places, God has sent out his light.From Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shone.Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
Psalms 50:3Our God cometh, and doth not keep silence: A fire devoureth before him, And it is very tempestuous round about him. Our God will come, and will not keep quiet; with fire burning before him, and storm-winds round him.Our God cometh, and is not silent, Fire before Him doth devour, And round about him it hath been very tempestuous.Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous around him.
Psalms 50:4He calleth to the heavens above, And to the earth, that he may judge his people: His voice will go out to the heavens and to the earth, for the judging of his people:He doth call unto the heavens from above, And unto the earth, to judge His people.He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
Psalms 50:5Gather my saints together unto me, Those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. Let my saints come together to me; those who have made an agreement with me by offerings.Gather ye to Me My saints, Making covenant with Me over a sacrifice.Gather my saints together to me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
Psalms 50:6And the heavens shall declare his righteousness; For God is judge himself. Selah And let the heavens make clear his righteousness; for God himself is the judge. (Selah.)And the heavens declare His righteousness, For God Himself [is] judge. Selah.And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.
Psalms 50:7Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify unto thee: I am God, [even] thy God. Give ear, O my people, to my words; O Israel, I will be a witness against you; I am God, even your God.Hear, O My people, and I speak, O Israel, and I testify against thee, God, thy God [am] I.Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.
Psalms 50:8I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices; And thy burnt-offerings are continually before me. I will not take up a cause against you because of your offerings, or because of your burned offerings, which are ever before me.Not for thy sacrifices do I reprove thee, Yea, thy burnt-offerings [Are] before Me continually.I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt-offerings, to have been continually before me.
Psalms 50:9I will take no bullock out of thy house, Nor he-goats out of thy folds. I will take no ox out of your house, or he-goats from your flocks;I take not from thy house a bullock, From thy folds he goats.I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he-goats out of thy folds.
Psalms 50:10For every beast of the forest is mine, And the cattle upon a thousand hills. For every beast of the woodland is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.For Mine [is] every beast of the forest, The cattle on the hills of oxen.For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
Psalms 50:11I know all the birds of the mountains; And the wild beasts of the field are mine. I see all the birds of the mountains, and the beasts of the field are mine.I have known every fowl of the mountains, And the wild beast of the field [is] with Me.I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
Psalms 50:12If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; For the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. If I had need of food, I would not give you word of it; for the earth is mine and all its wealth.If I am hungry I tell not to thee, For Mine [is] the world and its fulness.If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof.
Psalms 50:13Will I eat the flesh of bulls, Or drink the blood of goats? Am I to take the flesh of the ox for my food, or the blood of goats for my drink?Do I eat the flesh of bulls, And drink the blood of he-goats?Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
Psalms 50:14Offer unto God the sacrifice of thanksgiving; And pay thy vows unto the Most High: Make an offering of praise to God; keep the agreements which you have made with the Most High;Sacrifice to God confession, And complete to the Most High thy vows.Offer to God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows to the Most High:
Psalms 50:15And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. Let your voice come up to me in the day of trouble; I will be your saviour, so that you may give glory to me.And call Me in a day of adversity, I deliver thee, and thou honourest Me.And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Psalms 50:16But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, And that thou hast taken my covenant in thy mouth, But to the sinner, God says, What are you doing, talking of my laws, or taking the words of my agreement in your mouth?And to the wicked hath God said: What to thee to recount My statutes? That thou liftest up My covenant on thy mouth?But to the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
Psalms 50:17Seeing thou hatest instruction, And castest my words behind thee? Seeing that you have no desire for my teaching, turning your back on my words.Yea, thou hast hated instruction, And dost cast My words behind thee.Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
Psalms 50:18When thou sawest a thief, thou consentedst with him, And hast been partaker with adulterers. When you saw a thief, you were in agreement with him, and you were joined with those who took other men's wives.If thou hast seen a thief, Then thou art pleased with him, And with adulterers [is] thy portion.When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
Psalms 50:19Thou givest thy mouth to evil, And thy tongue frameth deceit. You have given your mouth to evil, your tongue to words of deceit.Thy mouth thou hast sent forth with evil, And thy tongue joineth deceit together,Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
Psalms 50:20Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; Thou slanderest thine own mother's son. You say evil of your brother; you make false statements against your mother's son.Thou sittest, against thy brother thou speakest, Against a son of thy mother givest slander.Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thy own mother's son.
Psalms 50:21These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; Thou thoughtest that I was altogether such a one as thyself: [But] I will reprove thee, and set [them] in order before thine eyes. These things have you done, and I said nothing; it seemed to you that I was such a one as yourself; but I will make a protest against you, and put them in order before your eyes.These thou didst, and I kept silent, Thou hast thought that I am like thee, I reprove thee, and set in array before thine eyes.These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
Psalms 50:22Now consider this, ye that forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver: Now keep this in mind, you who have no memory of God, for fear that you may be crushed under my hand, with no one to give you help:Understand this, I pray you, Ye who are forgetting God, Lest I tear, and there is no deliverer.Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
Psalms 50:23Whoso offereth the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifieth me; And to him that ordereth his way [aright] Will I show the salvation of God. Psalm 51 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David; when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Whoever makes an offering of praise gives glory to me; and to him who is upright in his ways I will make clear the salvation of God.He who is sacrificing praise honoureth Me, As to him who maketh a way, I cause him to look on the salvation of God!Whoever offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his deportment aright will I show the salvation of God.
