Psalms 65:1Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion; And unto thee shall the vow be performed. <To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David. A Song.> It is right for you, O God, to have praise in Zion: to you let the offering be made.To the Overseer. A Psalm of David. A Song. To Thee, silence praise, O God, [is] in Zion, And to Thee is a vow completed.Praise waits for you, God, in Zion. To you shall vows be performed.
Psalms 65:2O thou that hearest prayer, Unto thee shall all flesh come. To you, O hearer of prayer, let the words of all flesh come.Hearer of prayer, to Thee all flesh cometh.You who hear prayer, To you all men will come.
Psalms 65:3Iniquities prevail against me: As for our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them. Evils have overcome us: but as for our sins, you will take them away.Matters of iniquities were mightier than I, Our transgressions Thou dost cover them.Sins overwhelmed me, But you atoned for our transgressions.
Psalms 65:4Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach [unto thee], That he may dwell in thy courts: We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, Thy holy temple. Happy is the man of your selection, to whom you give a resting-place in your house; we will be full of the good things out of your holy place.O the happiness of [him whom] Thou choosest, And drawest near, he inhabiteth Thy courts, We are satisfied with the goodness of Thy house, Thy holy temple.Blessed is one whom you choose, and cause to come near, That he may live in your courts. We will be filled with the goodness of your house, Your holy temple.
Psalms 65:5By terrible things thou wilt answer us in righteousness, Oh God of our salvation, Thou that art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of them that are afar off upon the sea: You will give us an answer in righteousness by great acts of power, O God of our salvation; you who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of the far-off lands of the sea;By fearful things in righteousness Thou answerest us, O God of our salvation, The confidence of all far off ends of earth and sea.By awesome deeds of righteousness, you answer us, God of our salvation. You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, Of those who are far away on the sea;
Psalms 65:6Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains, Being girded about with might; The God by whose strength the mountains are fixed; who is robed with power:Establishing mountains by His power, He hath been girded with might,Who by his power forms the mountains, Having armed yourself with strength;
Psalms 65:7Who stilleth the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples. Who makes the loud voice of the sea quiet, and puts an end to the sound of its waves.Restraining the noise of seas, the noise of their billows, And the multitude of the peoples.Who stills the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the turmoil of the nations.
Psalms 65:8They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: Thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice. Those in the farthest parts of the earth have fear when they see your signs: the outgoings of the morning and evening are glad because of you.And the inhabitants of the uttermost parts From Thy signs are afraid, The outgoings of morning and evening Thou causest to sing.They also who dwell in far-away places are afraid at your wonders. You call the morning's dawn and the evening with songs of joy.
Psalms 65:9Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it, Thou greatly enrichest it; The river of God is full of water: Thou providest them grain, when thou hast so prepared the earth. You have given your blessing to the earth, watering it and making it fertile; the river of God is full of water: and having made it ready, you give men grain.Thou hast inspected the earth, and waterest it, Thou makest it very rich, the rivulet of God [is] full of water, Thou preparest their corn, When thus Thou dost prepare it,You visit the earth, and water it. You greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you have ordained it.
Psalms 65:10Thou waterest its furrows abundantly; Thou settlest the ridges thereof: Thou makest it soft with showers; Thou blessest the springing thereof. You make the ploughed lands full of water; you make smooth the slopes: you make the earth soft with showers, sending your blessing on its growth.Its ridges have been filled, Deepened hath been its furrow, With showers Thou dost soften it, Its springing up Thou blessest.You drench its furrows. You level its ridges. You soften it with showers. You bless it with a crop.
Psalms 65:11Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; And thy paths drop fatness. The year is crowned with the good you give; life-giving rain is dropping from your footsteps,Thou hast crowned the year of Thy goodness, And Thy paths drop fatness.You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance.
Psalms 65:12They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness; And the hills are girded with joy. Falling on the grass of the waste land: and the little hills are glad on every side.Drop do the pastures of a wilderness, And joy of the heights Thou girdest on.The wilderness grasslands overflow. The hills are clothed with gladness.
Psalms 65:13The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered over with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing. Psalm 66 For the Chief Musician. A song, a Psalm. The grass-land is thick with flocks; the valleys are full of grain; they give glad cries and songs of joy.Clothed have lambs the flock, And valleys are covered with corn, They shout yea, they sing!The pastures are covered with flocks. The valleys also are clothed with grain. They shout for joy! They also sing. Psalm 66 For the Chief Musician. A song. A Psalm.
