Psalms 59:3For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul; The mighty gather themselves together against me: Not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Jehovah. For behold, they lie in wait for my soul; strong ones are gathered against me: not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O Jehovah.O God, thou hast cast us off, and hast destroyed us; thou hast been angry, and hast had mercy on us.For see, they are watching in secret for my soul; the strong have come together against me? but not because of my sin, or my evil-doing, O Lord.
Psalms 59:4They run and prepare themselves without [my] fault: Awake thou to help me, and behold. They run and prepare themselves without [my] fault: awake to meet me, and behold.Thou hast moved the earth, and hast troubled it: heal thou the breaches thereof, for it has been moved. For no sin of mine they go quickly and get themselves ready; be awake and come to my help, and see.
Psalms 59:5Even thou, O Jehovah God of hosts, the God of Israel, Arise to visit all the nations: Be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah Yea, do thou, Jehovah, the God of hosts, the God of Israel, arise to visit all the nations: be not gracious to any plotters of iniquity. Selah.Thou hast shewn thy people hard things; thou hast made us drink wine of sorrow. You, O Lord God of armies, are the God of Israel; come now and give punishment to the nations; have no mercy on any workers of deceit. (Selah.)
Psalms 59:6They return at evening, they howl like a dog, And go round about the city. They return in the evening; they howl like a dog, and go round about the city:Thou hast given a warning to them that fear thee: that they may flee from before the bow: That thy beloved may be delivered. They come back in the evening; they make a noise like a dog, and go round the town.
Psalms 59:7Behold, they belch out with their mouth; Swords are in their lips: For who, [say they], doth hear? Psalms 59:8But thou, O Jehovah, wilt laugh at them; Thou wilt have all the nations in derision. But thou, Jehovah, wilt laugh at them; thou wilt have all the nations in derision.God hath spoken in his holy place: I will rejoice, and I will divide Sichem; and will mete out the vale of tabernacles. But you are laughing at them, O Lord; you will make sport of all the nations.

God, whose loving-kindness will come to meet me, God shall let me see [my desire] upon mine enemies.Moab is the pot of my hope. Into Edom will I stretch out my shoe: to me the foreigners are made subject. The God of my mercy will go before me: God will let me see my desire effected on my haters.
Psalms 59:11Slay them not, lest my people forget: Scatter them by thy power, and bring them down, O Lord our shield. Slay them not, lest my people forget; by thy power make them wander, and bring them down, O Lord, our shield.Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?Put them not to death, for so my people will keep the memory of them: let them be sent in all directions by your power; make them low, O Lord our saviour.
Psalms 59:12[For] the sin of their mouth, [and] the words of their lips, Let them even be taken in their pride, And for cursing and lying which they speak. [Because of] the sin of their mouth, the word of their lips, let them even be taken in their pride; and because of cursing and lying which they speak.Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go out with our armies?Because of the sin of their mouths and the word of their lips, let them even be taken in their pride; and for their curses and their deceit,

Selah.Give us help from trouble: for vain is the salvation of man.Put an end to them in your wrath, put an end to them, so that they may not be seen again; let them see that God is ruling in Jacob and to the ends of the earth.
