Job 18:2How long will ye hunt for words? Consider, and afterwards we will speak. How long will ye hunt for words? Be intelligent, and then we will speak.How long will you throw out words? understand first, and so let us speak."How long will you hunt for words? Consider, and afterwards we will speak.
Job 18:3Wherefore are we counted as beasts, [And] are become unclean in your sight? Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed stupid in your sight?Why are we reputed as beasts, and counted vile before you?Why are we counted as animals, Which have become unclean in your sight?
Job 18:4Thou that tearest thyself in thine anger, Shall the earth be forsaken for thee? Or shall the rock be removed out of its place? Thou that tearest thyself in thine anger, shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of its place?Thou that destroyest thy soul in thy fury, shall the earth be forsaken for thee, and shall rocks be removed out of their place?You who tear yourself in your anger, Shall the earth be forsaken for you? Or shall the rock be removed out of its place?
Job 18:5Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, And the spark of his fire shall not shine. Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the flame of his fire shall not shine.Shall not the light of the wicked be extinguished, and the flame of his fire not shine?"Yes, the light of the wicked shall be put out, The spark of his fire shall not shine.
Job 18:6The light shall be dark in his tent, And his lamp above him shall be put out. The light shall become dark in his tent, and his lamp over him shall be put out.The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and the lamp that is over him, shall be put out.The light shall be dark in his tent, His lamp above him shall be put out.
Job 18:7The steps of his strength shall be straitened, And his own counsel shall cast him down. Job 18:9A gin shall take [him] by the heel, [And] a snare shall lay hold on him. The gin taketh [him] by the heel, the snare layeth hold on him;The sole of his foot shall be held in a snare, and thirst shall burn against him.A snare shall take him by the heel; A trap shall lay hold on him.
Job 18:10A noose is hid for him in the ground, And a trap for him in the way. A cord is hidden for him in the ground, and his trap in the way.A gin is hidden for him in the earth, and his trap upon the path.A noose is hidden for him in the ground, A trap for him in the way.
Job 18:11Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, And shall chase him at his heels. Terrors make him afraid on every side, and chase him at his footsteps.Fears shall terrify him on every side, and shall entangle his feet.Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, And shall chase him at his heels.
Job 18:12His strength shall be hunger-bitten, And calamity shall be ready at his side. His strength is hunger-bitten, and calamity is ready at his side.Let his strength be wasted with famine, and let hunger invade his ribs.His strength shall be famished, Calamity shall be ready at his side.
Job 18:13The members of his body shall be devoured, [Yea], the first-born of death shall devour his members. Job 18:14He shall be rooted out of his tent where he trusteth; And he shall be brought to the king of terrors. His confidence shall be rooted out of his tent, and it shall lead him away to the king of terrors:Let his confidence be rooted out of his tabernacle, and let destruction tread upon him like a king.He shall be rooted out of his tent where he trusts. Job 18:15There shall dwell in his tent that which is none of his: Brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation. They who are none of his shall dwell in his tent; brimstone shall be showered upon his habitation:Let the companions of him that is not, dwell in his tabernacle, let brimstone be sprinkled in his tent.There shall dwell in his tent that which is none of his. Sulfur shall be scattered on his habitation.

Job 18:17His remembrance shall perish from the earth, And he shall have no name in the street. Job 18:19He shall have neither son nor son's son among his people, Nor any remaining where he sojourned. Job 18:20They that come after shall be astonished at his day, As they that went before were affrighted. They that come after shall be astonished at his day, as they that went before [them] were affrighted.They that come after him shall be astonished at his day, and horror shall fall upon them that went before.Those who come after shall be astonished at his day, As those who went before were frightened.
Job 18:21Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous, And this is the place of him that knoweth not God. Surely, such are the dwellings of the unrighteous man, and such the place of him that knoweth not ùGod.These men are the tabernacles of the wicked, and this the place of him that knoweth not God.Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous, This is the place of him who doesn't know God."
