| Psalms 62:1 | My soul waiteth in silence for God only: From him [cometh] my salvation. | {To the chief Musician. On Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.} Upon God alone doth my soul rest peacefully; from him is my salvation. | A psalm of David when he was in the desert of Edom. | To the Overseer, for Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. Only toward God [is] my soul silent, From Him [is] my salvation. |
| Psalms 62:2 | He only is my rock and my salvation: [He is] my high tower; I shall not be greatly moved. | He only is my rock and my salvation; my high fortress: I shall not be greatly moved. | O God, my God, to thee do I watch at break of day. For thee my soul hath thirsted; for thee my flesh, O how many ways! | Only He [is] my rock, and my salvation, My tower, I am not much moved. |
| Psalms 62:3 | How long will ye set upon a man, That ye may slay [him], all of you, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence? | How long will ye assail a man; will ye [seek], all of you, to break him down as a bowing wall or a tottering fence? | In a desert land, and where there is no way, and no water: so in the sanctuary have I come before thee, to see thy power and thy glory. | Till when do ye devise mischief against a man? Ye are destroyed all of you, As a wall inclined, a hedge that is cast down. |
