Psalms 26:1Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in Jehovah without wavering. {[A Psalm] of David.} Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity, and I have confided in Jehovah: I shall not slip.Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide. The psalm of David before he was anointed. The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the protector of my life: of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalms 26:2Examine me, O Jehovah, and prove me; Try my heart and my mind. Prove me, Jehovah, and test me; try my reins and my heart:Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.Whilst the wicked draw near against me, to eat my flesh. My enemies that trouble me, have themselves been weakened, and have fallen.
Psalms 26:3For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes; And I have walked in thy truth. For thy loving-kindness is before mine eyes, and I have walked in thy truth. For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth. If armies in camp should stand together against me, my heart shall not fear. If a battle should rise up against me, in this will I be confident.
Psalms 26:4I have not sat with men of falsehood; Neither will I go in with dissemblers. I have not sat with vain persons, neither have I gone in with dissemblers;I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. One thing I have asked of the Lord, this will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. That I may see the delight of the Lord, and may visit his temple.
Psalms 26:5I hate the assembly of evil-doers, And will not sit with the wicked. I have hated the congregation of evil-doers, and I have not sat with the wicked.I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. For he hath hidden me in his tabernacle; in the day of evils, he hath protected me in the secret place of his tabernacle.
Psalms 26:6I will wash my hands in innocency: So will I compass thine altar, O Jehovah; I will wash my hands in innocency, and will encompass thine altar, O Jehovah,I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:He hath exalted me upon a rock: and now he hath lifted up my head above my enemies. I have gone round, and have offered up in his tabernacle a sacrifice of jubilation: I will sing, and recite a psalm to the Lord.
Psalms 26:7That I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, And tell of all thy wondrous works. That I may cause the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and declare all thy marvellous works. That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.Hear, O Lord, my voice, with which I have cried to thee: have mercy on me and hear me.
Psalms 26:8Jehovah, I love the habitation of thy house, And the place where thy glory dwelleth. Jehovah, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth. My heart hath said to thee: My face hath sought thee: thy face, O Lord, will I still seek.
Psalms 26:9Gather not my soul with sinners, Nor my life with men of blood; Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of blood;Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:Turn not away thy face from me; decline not in thy wrath from thy servant. Be thou my helper, forsake me not; do not thou despise me, O God my Saviour.
Psalms 26:10In whose hands is wickedness, And their right hand is full of bribes. In whose hands are evil devices, and their right hand is full of bribes. In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes. For my father and my mother have left me: but the Lord hath taken me up.
Psalms 26:11But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: Redeem me, and be merciful unto me. But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity. Redeem me, and be gracious unto me.But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.Set me, O Lord, a law in thy way, and guide me in the right path, because of my enemies.
Psalms 26:12My foot standeth in an even place: In the congregations will I bless Jehovah. Psalm 27 [A Psalm] of David. My foot standeth in an even place; in the congregations will I bless Jehovah. My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.Deliver me not over to the will of them that trouble me; for unjust witnesses have risen up against me; and iniquity hath lied to itself.
