O LORD, rebuke me not in thy anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
Psalms 6:2Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah; for I am withered away: O Jehovah, heal me; for my bones are troubled. Be gracious unto me, Jehovah, for I am withered; Jehovah, heal me, for my bones tremble.Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are agitated.
Psalms 6:3My soul also is sore troubled: And thou, O Jehovah, how long? And my soul trembleth exceedingly: and thou, Jehovah, till how long?My soul is also greatly disquieted: but thou, O LORD, how long?
Psalms 6:4Return, O Jehovah, deliver my soul: Save me for thy lovingkindness' sake. Return, Jehovah, free my soul; save me for thy loving-kindness' sake.Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: Oh save me for thy mercies sake.
Psalms 6:5For in death there is no remembrance of thee: In Sheol who shall give thee thanks? For in death there is no remembrance of thee; in Sheol who shall give thanks unto thee?For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who will give thee thanks?
Psalms 6:6I am weary with my groaning; Every night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. Psalms 6:10All mine enemies shall be put to shame and sore troubled: They shall turn back, they shall be put to shame suddenly.
