1st-Corinthians 11:1Be ye imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ. Be my imitators, even as *I* also [am] of Christ.Be imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.Be ye followers of me, as I also am of Christ.
1st-Corinthians 11:2Now I praise you that ye remember me in all things, and hold fast the traditions, even as I delivered them to you. Now I praise you, that in all things ye are mindful of me; and that as I have directed you, ye keep the directions. Now I praise you, brothers, that you remember me in all things, and hold firm the traditions, even as I delivered them to you.Now I praise you, brethren, that in all things you are mindful of me: and keep my ordinances as I have delivered them to you.
1st-Corinthians 11:3But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. But I wish you to know that the Christ is the head of every man, but woman's head [is] the man, and the Christ's head God.But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God.But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
1st-Corinthians 11:4Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoreth his head. Every man praying or prophesying, having [anything] on his head, puts his head to shame.Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.Every man praying or prophesying with his head covered, disgraceth his head.
1st-Corinthians 11:5But every woman praying or prophesying with her head unveiled dishonoreth her head; for it is one and the same thing as if she were shaven. But every woman praying or prophesying with her head uncovered puts her own head to shame; for it is one and the same as a shaved [woman].But every woman praying or prophesying with her head unveiled dishonors her head. For it is one and the same thing as if she were shaved. But every woman praying or prophesying with her head not covered, disgraceth her head: for it is all one as if she were shaven.
1st-Corinthians 11:6For if a woman is not veiled, let her also be shorn: but if it is a shame to a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be veiled. For if a woman be not covered, let her hair also be cut off. But if [it be] shameful to a woman to have her hair cut off or to be shaved, let her be covered. For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered. For if a woman be not covered, let her be shorn. But if it be a shame to a woman to be shorn or made bald, let her cover her head.
1st-Corinthians 11:7For a man indeed ought not to have his head veiled, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. For man indeed ought not to have his head covered, being God's image and glory; but woman is man's glory. For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.The man indeed ought not to cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of the man.
1st-Corinthians 11:8For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man: For man is not of woman, but woman of man.For man is not from woman, but woman from man;For the man is not of the woman, but the woman of the man.
1st-Corinthians 11:9for neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man: For also man was not created for the sake of the woman, but woman for the sake of the man.for neither was man created for the woman, but woman for the man.For the man was not created for the woman, but the woman for the man.
1st-Corinthians 11:10for this cause ought the woman to have [a sign of] authority on her head, because of the angels. Therefore ought the woman to have authority on her head, on account of the angels. For this cause the woman ought to have authority on her head, because of the angels. Therefore ought the woman to have a power over her head, because of the angels.
1st-Corinthians 11:11Nevertheless, neither is the woman without the man, nor the man without the woman, in the Lord. However, neither [is] woman without man, nor man without woman, in [the] Lord.Nevertheless, neither is the woman independent of the man, nor the man independent of the woman, in the Lord. But yet neither is the man without the woman, nor the woman without the man, in the Lord.
1st-Corinthians 11:12For as the woman is of the man, so is the man also by the woman; but all things are of God. For as the woman [is] of the man, so also [is] the man by the woman, but all things of God.For as the woman is from the man, so is the man also by the woman; but all things are from God.For as the woman is of the man, so also is the man by the woman: but all things of God.
1st-Corinthians 11:13Judge ye in yourselves: is it seemly that a woman pray unto God unveiled? Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman should pray to God uncovered?Judge for yourselves. Is it appropriate that a woman pray to God unveiled? You yourselves judge: doth it become a woman, to pray unto God uncovered?
1st-Corinthians 11:14Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a dishonor to him? Does not even nature itself teach you, that man, if he have long hair, it is a dishonour to him?Doesn't even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?Doth not even nature itself teach you, that a man indeed, if he nourish his hair, it is a shame unto him?
1st-Corinthians 11:15But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. But woman, if she have long hair, [it is] glory to her; for the long hair is given [to her] in lieu of a veil. But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her, for her hair is given to her for a covering. But if a woman nourish her hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given to her for a covering.
1st-Corinthians 11:16But if any man seemeth to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God. But if any one think to be contentious, *we* have no such custom, nor the assemblies of God.But if any man seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do God's assemblies. But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor the church of God.
1st-Corinthians 11:17But in giving you this charge, I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better but for the worse. But [in] prescribing [to you on] this [which I now enter on], I do not praise, [namely,] that ye come together, not for the better, but for the worse. But in giving you this command, I don't praise you, that you come together not for the better but for the worse. Now this I ordain: not praising you, that you come together not for the better, but for the worse.
1st-Corinthians 11:18For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that divisions exist among you; and I partly believe it. For first, when ye come together in assembly, I hear there exist divisions among you, and I partly give credit [to it].For first of all, when you come together in the assembly, I hear that divisions exist among you, and I partly believe it.For first of all I hear that when you come together in the church, there are schisms among you; and in part I believe it.
1st-Corinthians 11:19For there must be also factions among you, that they that are approved may be made manifest among you. For there must also be sects among you, that the approved may become manifest among you.For there must be also factions among you, that those who are approved may be revealed among you.For there must be also heresies: that they also, who are approved, may be made manifest among you.
1st-Corinthians 11:20When therefore ye assemble yourselves together, it is not possible to eat the Lord's supper: When ye come therefore together into one place, it is not to eat [the] Lord's supper. When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not possible to eat the Lord's supper. When you come therefore together into one place, it is not now to eat the Lord's supper.
1st-Corinthians 11:21for in your eating each one taketh before [other] his own supper; and one is hungry, and another is drunken. For each one in eating takes his *own* supper before [others], and one is hungry and another drinks to excess. For in your eating each one takes his own supper before others. One is hungry, and another is drunken. For every one taketh before his own supper to eat. And one indeed is hungry and another is drunk.
1st-Corinthians 11:22What, have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and put them to shame that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you? In this I praise you not. Have ye not then houses for eating and drinking? or do ye despise the assembly of God, and put to shame them who have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you? In this [point] I do not praise. What, don't you have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise God's assembly, and put them to shame who don't have? What will I tell you? Will I praise you? In this I don't praise you. What, have you not houses to eat and to drink in? Or despise ye the church of God; and put them to shame that have not ? What shall I say to you? Do I praise you? In this I praise you not.
1st-Corinthians 11:23For I received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which he was betrayed took bread; For *I* received from the Lord, that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus, in the night in which he was delivered up, took bread,For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread. For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus, the same night in which he was betrayed, took bread.
1st-Corinthians 11:24and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, This is my body, which is for you: this do in remembrance of me. and having given thanks broke [it], and said, This is my body, which [is] for you: this do in remembrance of me.When he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me."And giving thanks, broke, and said: Take ye, and eat: this is my body, which shall be delivered for you: this do for the commemoration of me.
1st-Corinthians 11:25In like manner also the cup, after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood: this do, as often as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me. In like manner also the cup, after having supped, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood: this do, as often as ye shall drink [it], in remembrance of me.In the same way he also took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me."In like manner also the chalice, after he had supped, saying: This chalice is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as often as you shall drink, for the commemoration of me.
1st-Corinthians 11:26For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink the cup, ye proclaim the Lord's death till he come. For as often as ye shall eat this bread, and drink the cup, ye announce the death of the Lord, until he come. For as often as you eat this bread, and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes. For as often as you shall eat this bread, and drink the chalice, you shall shew the death of the Lord, until he come.
1st-Corinthians 11:27Wherefore whosoever shall eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. So that whosoever shall eat the bread, or drink the cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty in respect of the body and of the blood of the Lord. Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup in an unworthy manner, will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. Therefore whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord.
1st-Corinthians 11:28But let a man prove himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup. But let a man prove himself, and thus eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.But let a man prove himself: and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of the chalice.
1st-Corinthians 11:29For he that eateth and drinketh, eateth and drinketh judgment unto himself, if he discern not the body. For [the] eater and drinker eats and drinks judgment to himself, not distinguishing the body. For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn't discern the Lord's body. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord.
1st-Corinthians 11:30For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep. On this account many among you [are] weak and infirm, and a good many are fallen asleep. For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep. Therefore are there many inform and weak among you, and many sleep.
1st-Corinthians 11:31But if we discerned ourselves, we should not be judged. But if we judged ourselves, so were we not judged. For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn't be judged. But if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
1st-Corinthians 11:32But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world. But being judged, we are disciplined of [the] Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world. But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world. But whilst we are judged, we are chastised by the Lord, that we be not condemned with this world.
1st-Corinthians 11:33Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, wait one for another. So that, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, wait for one another. Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait one for another.Wherefore, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.
1st-Corinthians 11:34If any man is hungry, let him eat at home; that your coming together be not unto judgment. And the rest will I set in order whensoever I come. If any one be hungry, let him eat at home, that ye may not come together for judgment. But the other things, whenever I come, I will set in order. But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, that your coming together may not be to judgment. The rest I will set in order whenever I come.If any man be hungry, let him eat at home; that you come not together unto judgment. And the rest I will set in order, when I come.
