Psalms 91:1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.A psalm of a canticle on the sabbath day.
Psalms 91:2I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust. I say of Jehovah, My refuge and my fortress; my God, I will confide in him.I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust."It is good to give praise to the Lord: and to sing to thy name, O most High.
Psalms 91:3For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. Surely *he* shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the destructive pestilence.For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, From the deadly pestilence.To shew forth thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth in the night:
Psalms 91:4He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou find refuge: his truth is a shield and buckler.He will cover you with his pinions, Under his wings you will take refuge. His truth is a shield and a buckler.Upon an instrument of ten strings, upon the psaltery: with a canticle upon the harp.
Psalms 91:5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, for the arrow that flieth by day,You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day;For thou hast given me, O Lord, a delight in thy doings: and in the works of thy hands I shall rejoice.
Psalms 91:6For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.O Lord, how great are thy works! thy thoughts are exceeding deep.
Psalms 91:7A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; [But] it shall not come nigh thee. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee.A thousand shall fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it will not come near you.The senseless man shall not know: nor will the fool understand these things.
Psalms 91:8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, And see the reward of the wicked. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, and see the reward of the wicked.You will only look with your eyes, And see the reward of the wicked.When the wicked shall spring up as grass: and all the workers of iniquity shall appear: That they may perish for ever and ever:
Psalms 91:9For thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge! Thou hast made the Most High thy habitation; Because *thou* hast made Jehovah, my refuge, the Most High, thy dwelling-place,For you, Yahweh, are my refuge! You have made the Most High your habitation.but thou, O Lord, art most high for evermore.
Psalms 91:10There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent. There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.No evil will happen to you, Neither shall any plague come near your tent.For behold thy enemies, O Lord, for behold thy enemies shall perish: and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
Psalms 91:11For he will give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways. For he shall give his angels charge concerning thee, to keep thee in all thy ways:For he will give his angels charge over you, To guard you in all your ways.But my horn shall be exalted like that of the unicorn: and my old age in plentiful mercy.
Psalms 91:12They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. They shall bear thee up in [their] hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.They will bear you up in their hands, So that you won't dash your foot against a stone.My eye also hath looked down upon my enemies: and my ear shall hear of the downfall of the malignant that rise up against me.
Psalms 91:13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the serpent shalt thou trample under foot. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and the adder; the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under foot.You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.The just shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow up like the cedar of Libanus.
Psalms 91:14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name.They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of the house of our God.
Psalms 91:15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.They shall still increase in a fruitful old age: and shall be well treated,
Psalms 91:16With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation. Psalm 92 A Psalm, a Song for the sabbath day. With length of days will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.I will satisfy him with long life, And show him my salvation. Psalm 92 A Psalm. A song for the Sabbath day.that they may shew, That the Lord our God is righteous, and there is no iniquity in him.
