Psalms 72:5They shall fear thee while the sun endureth, And so long as the moon, throughout all generations. They are not in the labour of men: neither shall they be scourged like other men. Psalms 72:6He will come down like rain upon the mown grass, As showers that water the earth. Their iniquity hath come forth, as it were from fatness: they have passed into the affection of the heart. He will come down like rain on the mown grass, As showers that water the earth.May he come down like rain on the cut grass; like showers watering the earth.
Psalms 72:7In his days shall the righteous flourish, And abundance of peace, till the moon be no more. And I said: Then have I in vain justified my heart, and washed my hands among the innocent. For he will deliver the needy when he cries; The poor, who has no helper. For he will be a saviour to the poor in answer to his cry; and to him who is in need, without a helper.
