Psalms 36:1The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes. A psalm for David himself. Be not emulous of evildoers; nor envy them that work iniquity. An oracle is within my heart about the disobedience of the wicked: "There is no fear of God before his eyes."To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
Psalms 36:2For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, That his iniquity will not be found out and be hated. For they shall shortly wither away as grass, and as the green herbs shall quickly fall. For he flatters himself in his own eyes, Too much to detect and hate his sin.For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity is found to be hateful.
Psalms 36:3The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: He hath ceased to be wise [and] to do good. Trust in the Lord, and do good, and dwell in the land, and thou shalt be fed with its riches. The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has ceased to be wise and to do good. The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath ceased to be wise, and to do good.
Psalms 36:4He deviseth iniquity upon his bed; He setteth himself in a way that is not good; He abhorreth not evil. Delight in the Lord, and he will give thee the requests of thy heart. He plots iniquity on his bed. He sets himself in a way that is not good; He doesn't abhor evil.He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.
Psalms 36:5Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, is in the heavens; Thy faithfulness [reacheth] unto the skies. Commit thy way to the Lord, and trust in him, and he will do it.Your lovingkindness, Yahweh, is in the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth to the clouds.
Psalms 36:6Thy righteousness is like the mountains of God; Thy judgments are a great deep: O Jehovah, thou preservest man and beast. And he will bring forth thy justice as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.Your righteousness is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are a great deep. Yahweh, you preserve man and animal.Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.
Psalms 36:7How precious is thy lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings. Be subject to the Lord and pray to him Envy not the man who prospereth in his way; the man who doth unjust things. How precious is your lovingkindness, God! The children of men take refuge under the shadow of your wings. How excellent is thy loving-kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
Psalms 36:8They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; And thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. Cease from anger, and leave rage; have no emulation to do evil. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the abundance of your house. You will make them drink of the river of your pleasures. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
Psalms 36:9For with thee is the fountain of life: In thy light shall we see light. For the evildoers shall be cut off : but they that wait upon the Lord shall inherit the land. For with you is the spring of life. In your light shall we see light. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
Psalms 36:10Oh continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee, And thy righteousness to the upright in heart. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be : and thou shalt seek his place, and shalt not find it.Oh continue your lovingkindness to those who know you, Your righteousness to the upright in heart.O continue thy loving-kindness to them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
Psalms 36:11Let not the foot of pride come against me, And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away. But the meek shall inherit the land, and shall delight in abundance of peace.Don't let the foot of pride come against me. Don't let the hand of the wicked drive me away.Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.
Psalms 36:12There are the workers of iniquity fallen: They are thrust down, and shall not be able to rise. Psalm 37 [A Psalm] of David. The sinner shall watch the just man : and shall gnash upon him with his teeth. There the workers of iniquity are fallen. They are thrust down, and shall not be able to rise. Psalm 37 By David. There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
