Psalms 91:1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. A psalm of a canticle on the sabbath day.He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, In the shade of the Mighty lodgeth habitually,He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalms 91:2I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust. It is good to give praise to the Lord: and to sing to thy name, O most High.He is saying of Jehovah, `My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,`I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Psalms 91:3For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. To shew forth thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth in the night:For He delivereth thee from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence.Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
Psalms 91:4He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler. Upon an instrument of ten strings, upon the psaltery: with a canticle upon the harp.With His pinion He covereth thee over, And under His wings thou dost trust, A shield and buckler [is] His truth.He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Psalms 91:5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; For thou hast given me, O Lord, a delight in thy doings: and in the works of thy hands I shall rejoice.Thou art not afraid of fear by night, Of arrow that flieth by day,Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Psalms 91:6For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. O Lord, how great are thy works! thy thoughts are exceeding deep.Of pestilence in thick darkness that walketh, Of destruction that destroyeth at noon,Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
Psalms 91:7A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; [But] it shall not come nigh thee. The senseless man shall not know: nor will the fool understand these things.There fall at thy side a thousand, And a myriad at thy right hand, Unto thee it cometh not nigh.A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Psalms 91:8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, And see the reward of the wicked. When the wicked shall spring up as grass: and all the workers of iniquity shall appear: That they may perish for ever and ever:But with thine eyes thou lookest, And the reward of the wicked thou seest,Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Psalms 91:9For thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge! Thou hast made the Most High thy habitation; but thou, O Lord, art most high for evermore.(For Thou, O Jehovah, [art] my refuge,) The Most High thou madest thy habitation.Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
Psalms 91:10There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent. For behold thy enemies, O Lord, for behold thy enemies shall perish: and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.Evil happeneth not unto thee, And a plague cometh not near thy tent,There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
Psalms 91:11For he will give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways. But my horn shall be exalted like that of the unicorn: and my old age in plentiful mercy.For His messengers He chargeth for thee, To keep thee in all thy ways,For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
Psalms 91:12They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. My eye also hath looked down upon my enemies: and my ear shall hear of the downfall of the malignant that rise up against me.On the hands they bear thee up, Lest thou smite against a stone thy foot.They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Psalms 91:13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the serpent shalt thou trample under foot. The just shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow up like the cedar of Libanus.On lion and asp thou treadest, Thou trampest young lion and dragon.Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Psalms 91:14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of the house of our God.Because in Me he hath delighted, I also deliver him I set him on high, Because he hath known My name.Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
Psalms 91:15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him. They shall still increase in a fruitful old age: and shall be well treated,He doth call Me, and I answer him, I [am] with him in distress, I deliver him, and honour him.He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Psalms 91:16With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation. Psalm 92 A Psalm, a Song for the sabbath day. that they may shew, That the Lord our God is righteous, and there is no iniquity in him.With length of days I satisfy him, And I cause him to look on My salvation!With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
