Psalms 94:1O Jehovah, thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, Thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, shine forth. O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.O ùGod of vengeances, Jehovah, ùGod of vengeances, shine forth;Come let us praise the Lord with joy: let us joyfully sing to God our saviour.
Psalms 94:2Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: Render to the proud [their] desert. Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth, render the reward to the proud.Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving; and make a joyful noise to him with psalms.
Psalms 94:3Jehovah, how long shall the wicked, How long shall the wicked triumph? LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?How long shall the wicked, O Jehovah, how long shall the wicked triumph?For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
Psalms 94:4They prate, they speak arrogantly: All the workers of iniquity boast themselves. How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?[How long] shall they utter [and] speak insolence all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?For in his hand are all the ends of the earth: and the heights of the mountains are his.
Psalms 94:5They break in pieces thy people, O Jehovah, And afflict thy heritage. They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.They crush thy people, O Jehovah, and afflict thine inheritance;For the sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
Psalms 94:6They slay the widow and the sojourner, And murder the fatherless. They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless,Come let us adore and fall down: and weep before the Lord that made us.
Psalms 94:7And they say, Jehovah will not see, Neither will the God of Jacob consider. Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it. And say, Jah will not see, neither will the God of Jacob regard [it].For he is the Lord our God: and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand.
Psalms 94:8Consider, ye brutish among the people; And ye fools, when will ye be wise? Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?Understand, ye brutish among the people; and ye fools, when will ye be wise?To day if you shall hear his voice, harden not your hearts:
Psalms 94:9He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see? He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see? He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see?As in the provocation, according to the day of temptation in the wilderness: where your fathers tempted me, they proved me, and saw my works.
Psalms 94:10He that chastiseth the nations, shall not he correct, [Even] he that teacheth man knowledge? He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know? He that instructeth the nations, shall not he correct he that teacheth man knowledge?Forty years long was I offended with that generation, and I said: These always err in heart.
Psalms 94:11Jehovah knoweth the thoughts of man, That they are vanity. The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.Jehovah knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.And these men have not known my ways: so I swore in my wrath that they shall not enter into my rest.
Psalms 94:12Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Jehovah, And teachest out of thy law; Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Jah, and whom thou teachest out of thy law;
Psalms 94:13That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, Until the pit be digged for the wicked. That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.That thou mayest give him rest from the days of evil, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
Psalms 94:14For Jehovah will not cast off his people, Neither will he forsake his inheritance. For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.For Jehovah will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance;
Psalms 94:15For judgment shall return unto righteousness; And all the upright in heart shall follow it. But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.For judgment shall return unto righteousness, and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
Psalms 94:16Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers? who will stand for me against the workers of iniquity?
Psalms 94:17Unless Jehovah had been my help, My soul had soon dwelt in silence. Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.If Jehovah had not been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
Psalms 94:18When I said, My foot slippeth; Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, held me up. When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.When I said, My foot slippeth, thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, held me up.
Psalms 94:19In the multitude of my thoughts within me Thy comforts delight my soul. In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.In the multitude of my anxious thoughts within me thy comforts have delighted my soul.
Psalms 94:20Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with thee, Which frameth mischief by statute? Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?Shall the throne of wickedness be united to thee, which frameth mischief into a law?
Psalms 94:21They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, And condemn the innocent blood. They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.They band together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood.
Psalms 94:22But Jehovah hath been my high tower, And my God the rock of my refuge. But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.But Jehovah will be my high tower; and my God the rock of my refuge.
Psalms 94:23And he hath brought upon them their own iniquity, And will cut them off in their own wickedness; Jehovah our God will cut them off. Psalm 95 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.And he will bring upon them their iniquity, and will cut them off in their own evil: Jehovah our God will cut them off.
