Psalms 47:1Oh clap your hands, all ye peoples; Shout unto God with the voice of triumph. O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.A psalm of a canticle, for the sons of Core, on the second day of the week.To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. O clap your hands, all ye people; shout to God with the voice of triumph.
Psalms 47:2For Jehovah Most High is terrible; He is a great King over all the earth. For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.Great is the Lord, and exceedingly to be praised in the city of our God, in his holy mountain.For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
Psalms 47:3He subdueth peoples under us, And nations under our feet. He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.With the joy of the whole earth is mount Sion founded, on the sides of the north, the city of the great king.He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
Psalms 47:4He chooseth our inheritance for us, The glory of Jacob whom he loved. Selah He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.In her houses shall God be known, when he shall protect her.He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellence of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

Psalms 47:6Sing praise to God, sing praises: Sing praises unto our King, sing praises. Psalms 47:7For God is the King of all the earth: Sing ye praises with understanding. For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.trembling took hold of them. There were pains as of a woman in labour.For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
Psalms 47:8God reigneth over the nations: God sitteth upon his holy throne. God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness. With a vehement wind thou shalt break in pieces the ships of Tharsis.God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
Psalms 47:9The princes of the peoples are gathered together [To be] the people of the God of Abraham: For the shields of the earth belong unto God; He is greatly exalted. Psalm 48 A Song; a Psalm of the sons of Korah.
