| Psalms 57:1 | Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me; For my soul taketh refuge in thee: Yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I take refuge, Until [these] calamities be overpast. | Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast. | Be merciful to me, God, be merciful to me, For my soul takes refuge in you. Yes, in the shadow of your wings, I will take refuge, Until disaster has passed. | Unto the end, destroy not, for David, for an inscription of a title. |
| Psalms 57:2 | I will cry unto God Most High, Unto God that performeth [all things] for me. | I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me. | I cry out to God Most High, To God who accomplishes my requests for me. | If in very deed you speak justice: judge right things, ye sons of men. |
| Psalms 57:3 | He will send from heaven, and save me, [When] he that would swallow me up reproacheth; Selah God will send forth his lovingkindness and his truth. | He shall send from heaven, and save from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth. | He will send from heaven, and save me, He rebukes the one who is pursuing me. Selah. God will send out his lovingkindness and his truth. | For in your heart you work iniquity: your hands forge injustice in the earth. |
| Psalms 57:4 | My soul is among lions; I lie among them that are set on fire, Even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword. | My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword. | My soul is among lions. I lie among those who are set on fire, Even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword. | The wicked are alienated from the womb; they have gone astray from the womb: they have spoken false things. |
| Psalms 57:5 | Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; [Let] thy glory [be] above all the earth. | Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth. | Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your glory be above all the earth! | Their madness is according to the likeness of a serpent: like the deaf asp that stoppeth her ears: |
| Psalms 57:6 | They have prepared a net for my steps; My soul is bowed down: They have digged a pit before me; They are fallen into the midst thereof themselves. Selah | They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah. | They have prepared a net for my steps. My soul is bowed down. They dig a pit before me. They fall into the midst of it themselves. Selah. | Which will not hear the voice of the charmers; nor of the wizard that charmeth wisely. |
| Psalms 57:7 | My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing, yea, I will sing praises. | My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. | My heart is steadfast, God, my heart is steadfast. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises. | God shall break in pieces their teeth in their mouth: the Lord shall break the grinders of the lions. |
| Psalms 57:8 | Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake right early. | Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. | Wake up, my glory! Wake up, psaltery and harp! I will wake up the dawn. | They shall come to nothing, like water running down; he hath bent his bow till they be weakened. |
| Psalms 57:9 | I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the peoples: I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. | I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations. | I will give thanks to you, Lord, among the peoples. I will sing praises to you among the nations. | Like wax that melteth they shall be taken away: fire hath fallen on them, and they shall not see the sun. |
| Psalms 57:10 | For thy lovingkindness is great unto the heavens, And thy truth unto the skies. | For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds. | For your great lovingkindness reaches to the heavens, And your truth to the skies. | Before your thorns could know the brier; he swalloweth them up, as alive, in his wrath. |
| Psalms 57:11 | Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; [Let] thy glory [be] above all the earth. Psalm 58 For the Chief Musician; [set to] Al-tashheth. [A Psalm] of David. Michtam. | Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth. | Be exalted, God, above the heavens. Let your glory be over all the earth. Psalm 58 For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "Do Not Destroy." A poem by David. | The just shall rejoice when he shall see the revenge: he shall wash his hands in the blood of the sinner. |
