| 1st-Corinthians 5:1 | It is actually reported that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not even among the Gentiles, that one [of you] hath his father's wife. | It is reported commonly that there is lewdness among you, and such lewdness as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. | It is universally reported [that there is] fornication among you, and such fornication as [is] not even among the nations, so that one should have his father's wife. | It is absolutely heard, that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as the like is not among the heathens; that one should have his father's wife. |
| 1st-Corinthians 5:2 | And ye are puffed up, and did not rather mourn, that he that had done this deed might be taken away from among you. | And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he who hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. | And *ye* are puffed up, and ye have not rather mourned, in order that he that has done this deed might be taken away out of the midst of you. | And you are puffed up; and have not rather mourned, that he might be taken away from among you, that hath done this deed. |
| 1st-Corinthians 5:3 | For I verily, being absent in body but present in spirit, have already as though I were present judged him that hath so wrought this thing, | For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, | For *I*, [as] absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged as present, | I indeed, absent in body, but present in spirit, have already judged, as though I were present, him that hath so done, |
| 1st-Corinthians 5:4 | in the name of our Lord Jesus, ye being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus, | In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are assembled, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, | [to deliver,] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (ye and my spirit being gathered together, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ), him that has so wrought this: | In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, you being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus; |
| 1st-Corinthians 5:5 | to deliver such a one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. | To deliver such one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. | to deliver him, [I say,] [being] such, to Satan for destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. | To deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. |
| 1st-Corinthians 5:6 | Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? | Your boasting is not good. Know ye not, that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? | Your boasting [is] not good. Do ye not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? | Your glorying is not good. Know you not that a little leaven corrupteth the whole lump ? |
| 1st-Corinthians 5:7 | Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, even as ye are unleavened. For our passover also hath been sacrificed, [even] Christ: | Cleanse out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: | Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, according as ye are unleavened. For also our passover, Christ, has been sacrificed; | Purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new paste, as you are unleavened. For Christ our pasch is sacrificed. |
| 1st-Corinthians 5:8 | wherefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. | Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. | so that let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with leaven of malice and wickedness, but with unleavened [bread] of sincerity and truth. | Therefore let us feast, not with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. |
| 1st-Corinthians 5:9 | I wrote unto you in my epistle to have no company with fornicators; | I have written to you in this epistle, not to associate with persons guilty of lewdness: | I have written to you in the epistle not to mix with fornicators; | I wrote to you in an epistle, not to keep company with fornicators. |
| 1st-Corinthians 5:10 | not at all [meaning] with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous and extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world: | Yet not altogether with lewd persons of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters: for then ye must needs go out of the world. | not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the avaricious and rapacious, or idolaters, since [then] ye should go out of the world. | I mean not with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or the extortioners, or the servers of idols; otherwise you must needs go out of this world. |
| 1st-Corinthians 5:11 | but as it is, I wrote unto you not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no, not to eat. | But now I have written to you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother is a lewd person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner: with such person no not to eat. | But now I have written to you, if any one called brother be fornicator, or avaricious, or idolater, or abusive, or a drunkard, or rapacious, not to mix with [him]; with such a one not even to eat. | But now I have written to you, not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother, be a fornicator, or covetous, or a server of idols, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner: with such a one, not so much as to eat. |
| 1st-Corinthians 5:12 | For what have I to do with judging them that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within? | For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do ye not judge them that are within? | For what have *I* [to do] with judging those outside also? *ye*, do not ye judge them that are within? | For what have I to do to judge them that are without ? Do not you judge them that are within ? |
| 1st-Corinthians 5:13 | But them that are without God judgeth. Put away the wicked man from among yourselves. | But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. | But those without God judges. Remove the wicked person from amongst yourselves. | For them that are without, God will judge. Put away the evil one from among yourselves. |
