| Psalms 11:1 | In Jehovah do I take refuge: How say ye to my soul, Flee [as] a bird to your mountain; | To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. In the LORD I put my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? | In Yahweh do I take refuge. How can you say to my soul, "Flee as a bird to your mountain!" | Unto the end; for the octave, a psalm for David. |
| Psalms 11:2 | For, lo, the wicked bend the bow, They make ready their arrow upon the string, That they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart; | For lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart. | For, behold, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrows on the strings, That they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart. | Save me, O Lord, for there is now no saint: truths are decayed from among the children of men. |
| Psalms 11:3 | If the foundations be destroyed, What can the righteous do? | If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? | If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do? | They have spoken vain things every one to his neighbour: with deceitful lips, and with a double heart have they spoken. |
| Psalms 11:4 | Jehovah is in his holy temple; Jehovah, his throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. | The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try the children of men. | Yahweh is in his holy temple. Yahweh is on his throne in heaven. His eyes observe. His eyes examine the children of men. | May the Lord destroy all deceitful lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things. |
| Psalms 11:5 | Jehovah trieth the righteous; But the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. | The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. | Yahweh examines the righteous, But the wicked and him who loves violence his soul hates. | Who have said: We will magnify our tongue; our lips are our own; who is Lord over us? |
| Psalms 11:6 | Upon the wicked he will rain snares; Fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup. | Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. | On the wicked he will rain blazing coals; Fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup. | By reason of the misery of the needy, and the groans of the poor, now will I arise, saith the Lord. I win set him in safety; I will deal confidently in his regard. |
| Psalms 11:7 | For Jehovah is righteous; he loveth righteousness: The upright shall behold his face. Psalm 12 For the Chief Musician; set to the Sheminith. A Psalm of David. | For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance beholdeth the upright. | For Yahweh is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright shall see his face. Psalm 12 For the Chief Musician; upon an eight-stringed lyre. A Psalm of David. | The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried by the fire, purged from the earth refined seven times. |
