| Job 29:1 | And Job again took up his parable, and said, | Moreover, Job continued his parable, and said, | Job again took up his parable, and said, | And Job addeth to lift up his simile, and saith: |
| Job 29:2 | Oh that I were as in the months of old, As in the days when God watched over me; | Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me; | "Oh that I were as in the months of old, As in the days when God watched over me; | Who doth make me as [in] months past, As [in] the days of God`s preserving me? |
| Job 29:3 | When his lamp shined upon my head, And by his light I walked through darkness; | When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness; | When his lamp shone on my head, And by his light I walked through darkness; | In His causing His lamp to shine on my head, By His light I walk [through] darkness. |
| Job 29:4 | As I was in the ripeness of my days, When the friendship of God was upon my tent; | As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle; | As I was in the ripeness of my days, When the friendship of God was in my tent; | As I have been in days of my maturity, And the counsel of God upon my tent. |
