| Psalms 14:1 | The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works; There is none that doeth good. | | <To the chief music-maker. Of David.> The foolish man has said in his heart, God will not do anything. They are unclean, they have done evil works; there is not one who does good. | To the Overseer. By David. A fool hath said in his heart, `God is not;` They have done corruptly, They have done abominable actions, There is not a doer of good. |
| Psalms 14:2 | Jehovah looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, That did seek after God. | | The Lord was looking down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who had wisdom, searching after God. | Jehovah from the heavens Hath looked on the sons of men, To see if there is a wise one seeking God. |
| Psalms 14:3 | They are all gone aside; they are together become filthy; There is none that doeth good, no, not one. | | They have all gone out of the way together; they are unclean, there is not one who does good, no, not one. | The whole have turned aside, Together they have been filthy: There is not a doer of good, not even one. |
