| 1st-Corinthians 16:1 | Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I gave order to the churches of Galatia, so also do ye. | As to the collection for God's people, what I have directed the Churches of Galatia to do, you must do also. | Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the assemblies of Galatia, so do *ye* do also. | Now concerning the collections that are made for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, so do ye also. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:2 | Upon the first day of the week let each one of you lay by him in store, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come. | On the first day of every week let each of you put on one side and store up at his home whatever gain has been granted to him; so that whenever I come, there may then be no collections going on. | On [the] first of [the] week let each of you put by at home, laying up [in] whatever [degree] he may have prospered, that there may be no collections when I come. | On the first day of the week let every one of you put apart with himself, laying up what it shall well please him; that when I come, the collections be not then to be made. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:3 | And when I arrive, whomsoever ye shall approve, them will I send with letters to carry your bounty unto Jerusalem: | And when I am with you, whatever brethren you accredit by letter I will send to carry your kind gift to Jerusalem. | And when I am arrived, whomsoever ye shall approve, these I will send with letters to carry your bounty to Jerusalem: | And when I shall be with you, whomsoever you shall approve by letters, them will I send to carry your grace to Jerusalem. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:4 | and if it be meet for me to go also, they shall go with me. | And if it is worth while for me also to make the journey, they shall go as my companions. | and if it be suitable that *I* also should go, they shall go with me. | And if it be meet that I also go, they shall go with me. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:5 | But I will come unto you, when I shall have passed through Macedonia; for I pass through Macedonia; | I shall come to you after passing through Macedonia; for my plan will be to pass through Macedonia; | But I will come to you when I shall have gone through Macedonia; for I do go through Macedonia. | Now I will come to you, when I shall have passed through Macedonia. For I shall pass through Macedonia. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:6 | but with you it may be that I shall abide, or even winter, that ye may set me forward on my journey whithersoever I go. | and I shall make some stay with you perhaps, or even spend the winter with you, in order that you may help me forward, whichever way I travel. | But perhaps I will stay with you, or even winter with you, that *ye* may set me forward wheresoever I may go. | And with you perhaps I shall abide, or even spend the winter: that you may bring me on my way whithersoever I shall go. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:7 | For I do not wish to see you now by the way; for I hope to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit. | For I do not wish to see you on this occasion merely in passing; but if the Lord permits, I hope to remain some time with you. | For I will not see you now in passing, for I hope to remain a certain time with you, if the Lord permit. | For I will not see you now by the way, for I trust that I shall abide with you some time, if the Lord permit. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:8 | But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost; | I shall remain in Ephesus, however, until the time of the Harvest Festival, | But I remain in Ephesus until Pentecost. | But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:9 | for a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. | for a wide door stands open before me which demands great efforts, and we have many opponents. | For a great door is opened to me and an effectual [one], and [the] adversaries many. | For a great door and evident is opened unto me: and many adversaries. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:10 | Now if Timothy come, see that he be with you without fear; for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do: | If Timothy pays you a visit, see that he is free from fear in his relations with you; for he is engaged in the Master's work just as I am. | Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear; for he works the work of the Lord, even as I. | Now if Timothy come, see that he be with you without fear, for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:11 | let no man therefore despise him. But set him forward on his journey in peace, that he may come unto me: for I expect him with the brethren. | Therefore let no one slight him, but all of you should help him forward in peace to join me; for I am waiting for him and others of the brethren. | Let not therefore any one despise him; but set him forward in peace, that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brethren. | Let no man therefore despise him, but conduct ye him on his way in peace: that he may come to me. For I look for him with the breatheren. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:12 | But as touching Apollos the brother, I besought him much to come unto you with the brethren: and it was not all [his] will to come now; but he will come when he shall have opportunity. | As for our brother Apollos, I have repeatedly urged him to accompany the brethren who are coming to you: but he is quite resolved not to do so at present. He will come, however, when he has a good opportunity. | Now concerning the brother Apollos, I begged him much that he would go to you with the brethren; but it was not at all [his] will to go now; but he will come when he shall have good opportunity. | And touching our brother Apollo, I give you to understand, that I much entreated him to come unto you with the breatheren: and indeed it was not his will at all to come at this time. But he will come when he shall have leisure. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:13 | Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. | Be on the alert; stand firm in the faith; acquit yourselves like men; be strong. | Be vigilant; stand fast in the faith; quit yourselves like men; be strong. | Watch ye, stand fast in the faith,do manfully, and be strengthened. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:14 | Let all that ye do be done in love. | Let all that you do be done from motives of love. | Let all things ye do be done in love. | Let all your things be done in charity. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:15 | Now I beseech you, brethren (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to minister unto the saints), | And I beseech you, brethren you know the household of Stephanas, how they were the earliest Greek converts to Christ, and have devoted themselves to the service of God's people | But I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first-fruits of Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the saints for service,) | And I beseech you, brethren, you know the house of Stephanas, and of Fortunatus, and of Achaicus, that they are the firstfruits of Achaia, and have dedicated themselves to the ministry of the saints: |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:16 | that ye also be in subjection unto such, and to every one that helpeth in the work and laboreth. | I beseech you, on your part, to show deference to such men, and to every one who participates in their work and toils hard. | that *ye* should also be subject to such, and to every one joined in the work and labouring. | That you also be subject to such, and to every one that worketh with us, and laboureth. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:17 | And I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they supplied. | It is a joy to me that Stephanas, Fortunatus and Achaicus have now arrived, because what was wanting so far as you are concerned they have supplied. | But I rejoice in the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus; because *they* have supplied what was lacking on your part. | And I rejoice in the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because that which was wanting on your part, they have supplied. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:18 | For they refreshed my spirit and yours: acknowledge ye therefore them that are such. | They have refreshed my spirit, and yours. Acknowledge such men as these. | For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: own therefore such. | For they have refreshed both my spirit and yours. Know them, therefore, that are such. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:19 | The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Prisca salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house. | The Churches in the province of Asia send you greetings; and Aquila and Prisca, in hearty Christian love, do the same, together with the Church which meets at their house. | The assemblies of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla, with the assembly in their house, salute you much in [the] Lord. | The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house, with whom I also lodge. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:20 | All the brethren salute you. Salute one another with a holy kiss. | The brethren all send greetings to you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. | All the brethren salute you. Salute one another with a holy kiss. | All the brethren salute you. Salute one another with a holy kiss. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:21 | The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand. | The final greeting of me Paul with my own hand. | The salutation of [me] Paul with my own hand. | The salutation of me Paul, with my own hand. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:22 | If any man loveth not the Lord, let him be anathema. Maranatha. | If any one is destitute of love to the Lord, let him be accursed. OUR LORD IS COMING. | If any one love not the Lord [Jesus Christ] let him be Anathema Maranatha. | If any man love not our Lord Jesus Christ, let him be anathema, maranatha. |
| 1st-Corinthians 16:23 | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. | The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you. | The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. |
