Psalms 41:1Blessed is he that considereth the poor: Jehovah will deliver him in the day of evil. Blessed is he who considers the poor: Yahweh will deliver him in the day of evil.Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
Psalms 41:2Jehovah will preserve him, and keep him alive, And he shall be blessed upon the earth; And deliver not thou him unto the will of his enemies. Yahweh will preserve him, and keep him alive, He shall be blessed on the earth, And he will not surrender him to the will of his enemies.The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
Psalms 41:3Jehovah will support him upon the couch of languishing: Thou makest all his bed in his sickness. Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, And restore him from his bed of illness.The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
Psalms 41:4I said, O Jehovah, have mercy upon me: Heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee. I said, " Yahweh, have mercy on me. Heal me, for I have sinned against you."I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
Psalms 41:5Mine enemies speak evil against me, [saying], When will he die, and his name perish? My enemies speak evil against me: "When will he die, and his name perish?"Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
Psalms 41:6And if he come to see [me], he speaketh falsehood; His heart gathereth iniquity to itself: When he goeth abroad, he telleth it. If he come to see me, he speaks falsehood. His heart gathers iniquity to itself. When he goes abroad, he tells it.And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
Psalms 41:7All that hate me whisper together against me; Against me do they devise my hurt. All who hate me whisper together against me. They imagine the worst for me.All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
Psalms 41:8An evil disease, [say they], cleaveth fast unto him; And now that he lieth he shall rise up no more. "An evil disease," they say, "has afflicted him. Now that he lies he shall rise up no more."An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
Psalms 41:9Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, Who did eat of my bread, Hath lifted up his heel against me. Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, Who ate bread with me, Has lifted up his heel against me.Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
Psalms 41:10But thou, O Jehovah, have mercy upon me, and raise me up, That I may requite them. But you, Yahweh, have mercy on me, and raise me up, That I may repay them.But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
Psalms 41:11By this I know that thou delightest in me, Because mine enemy doth not triumph over me. By this I know that you delight in me, Because my enemy doesn't triumph over me.By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
Psalms 41:12And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, And settest me before thy face for ever. As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, And set me in your presence forever.And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
