| Psalms 75:1 | We give thanks unto thee, O God; We give thanks, for thy name is near: Men tell of thy wondrous works. | | To the Overseer. `Destroy not.` A Psalm of Asaph. A Song. We have given thanks to Thee, O God, We have given thanks, and near [is] Thy name, They have recounted Thy wonders. | Unto the end, in praises, a psalm for Asaph: a canticle to the Assyrians. |
| Psalms 75:2 | When I shall find the set time, I will judge uprightly. | | When I receive an appointment, I I do judge uprightly. | In Judea God is known: his name is great in Israel. |
| Psalms 75:3 | The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I have set up the pillars of it. Selah | | Melted is the earth and all its inhabitants, I I have pondered its pillars. Selah. | And his place is in peace: and his abode in Sion: |
| Psalms 75:4 | I said unto the arrogant, Deal not arrogantly; And to the wicked, Lift not up the horn: | | I have said to the boastful, `Be not boastful,` And to the wicked, `Raise not up a horn.` | There hath he broken the powers of bows, the shield, the sword, and the battie. |
| Psalms 75:5 | Lift not up your horn on high; Speak not with a stiff neck. | | Raise not up on high your horn, (Ye speak with a stiff neck.) | Thou enlightenest wonderfully from the everlasting hills. |
