Psalms 9:1I will give thanks unto Jehovah with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvellous works. To the Overseer, `On the Death of Labben.` A Psalm of David. I confess, O Jehovah, with all my heart, I recount all Thy wonders,Unto the end, for the hidden things of the Son. A psalm for David.
Psalms 9:2I will be glad and exult in thee; I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High. I rejoice and exult in Thee, I praise Thy Name, O Most High.I will give praise to thee, O Lord, with my whole heart: I will relate all thy wonders.
Psalms 9:3When mine enemies turn back, They stumble and perish at thy presence. In mine enemies turning backward, they stumble and perish from Thy face.I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing to thy name, O thou most high.
Psalms 9:4For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; Thou sittest in the throne judging righteously. For Thou hast done my judgment and my right. Thou hast sat on a throne, A judge of righteousness.When my enemy shall be turned back: they shall be weakened and perish before thy face.
Psalms 9:5Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; Thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever. Thou hast rebuked nations, Thou hast destroyed the wicked, Their name Thou hast blotted out to the age and for ever.For thou hast maintained my judgment and my cause: thou hast sat on the throne, who judgest justice.
Psalms 9:6The enemy are come to an end, they are desolate for ever; And the cities which thou hast overthrown, The very remembrance of them is perished. O thou Enemy, Finished have been destructions for ever, As to cities thou hast plucked up, Perished hath their memorial with them.Thou hast rebuked the Gentiles, and the wicked one hath perished: thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.
Psalms 9:7But Jehovah sitteth [as king] for ever: He hath prepared his throne for judgment; And Jehovah to the age abideth, He is preparing for judgment His throne.The swords of the enemy have failed unto the end: and their cities thou hast destroyed. Their memory hath perished with a noise.
Psalms 9:8And he will judge the world in righteousness, He will minister judgment to the peoples in uprightness. And He judgeth the world in righteousness, He judgeth the peoples in uprightness.but the Lord remaineth for ever. He hath prepared his throne in judgment:
Psalms 9:9Jehovah also will be a high tower for the oppressed, A high tower in times of trouble; And Jehovah is a tower for the bruised, A tower for times of adversity.and he shall judge the world in equity, he shall judge the people in justice.
Psalms 9:10And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; For thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. They trust in Thee who do know Thy name, For Thou hast not forsaken Those seeking Thee, O Jehovah.And the Lord is become a refuge for the poor: a helper in due time in tribulation.
Psalms 9:11Sing praises to Jehovah, who dwelleth in Zion: Declare among the people his doings. Sing ye praise to Jehovah, inhabiting Zion, Declare ye among the peoples His acts,And let them trust in thee who know thy name: for thou hast not forsaken them that seek thee, O Lord.
Psalms 9:12For he that maketh inquisition for blood remembereth them; He forgetteth not the cry of the poor. For He who is seeking for blood Them hath remembered, He hath not forgotten the cry of the afflicted.Sing ye to the Lord, who dwelleth in Sion: declare his ways among the Gentiles:
Psalms 9:13Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah; Behold my affliction [which I suffer] of them that hate me, Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death; Favour me, O Jehovah, See mine affliction by those hating me, Thou who liftest me up from the gates of death,For requiring their blood he hath remembered the: he hath not forgotten the cry of the poor.
Psalms 9:14That I may show forth all thy praise. In the gates of the daughter of Zion I will rejoice in thy salvation. So that I recount all Thy praise, In the gates of the daughter of Zion. I rejoice on Thy salvation.Have mercy on me, O Lord: see my humiliation which I suffer from my enemies.
Psalms 9:15The nations are sunk down in the pit that they made: In the net which they hid is their own foot taken. Sunk have nations in a pit they made, In a net that they hid hath their foot been captured.Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death, that I may declare all thy praises in the gates of the daughter of Sion.
Psalms 9:16Jehovah hath made himself known, he hath executed judgment: The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah Jehovah hath been known, Judgment He hath done, By a work of his hands Hath the wicked been snared. Meditation. Selah.I will rejoice in thy salvation: the Gentiles have stuck fast in the destruction which they have prepared. Their foot hath been taken in the very snare which they hid.
Psalms 9:17The wicked shall be turned back unto Sheol, Even all the nations that forget God. The wicked do turn back to Sheol, All nations forgetting God.The Lord shall be known when he executeth judgments: the sinner hath been caught in the works of his own hands.
Psalms 9:18For the needy shall not alway be forgotten, Nor the expectation of the poor perish for ever. For not for ever is the needy forgotten, The hope of the humble lost to the age.The wicked shall be turned into hell, all the nations that forget God.
Psalms 9:19Arise, O Jehovah; let not man prevail: Let the nations be judged in thy sight. Rise, O Jehovah, let not man be strong, Let nations be judged before Thy face.For the poor man shall not be forgotten to the end: the patience of the poor shall not perish for ever.
Psalms 9:20Put them in fear, O Jehovah: Let the nations know themselves to be but men. Selah Psalm 10 Appoint, O Jehovah, a director to them, Let nations know they [are] men! Selah.Arise, O Lord, let not man be strengthened: let the Gentiles be judged in thy sight.
