Psalms 21:1The king shall joy in thy strength, O Jehovah; And in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! The king rejoices in your strength, Yahweh! How greatly he rejoices in your salvation!To the chief Musician, a Psalm of David. The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!Unto the end, for the morning protection, a psalm for David.
Psalms 21:2Thou hast given him his heart's desire, And hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah You have given him his heart's desire, And have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.O God my God, look upon me: why hast thou forsaken me? Far from my salvation are the words of my sins.
Psalms 21:3For thou meetest him with the blessings of goodness: Thou settest a crown of fine gold on his head. For you meet him with the blessings of goodness; You set a crown of fine gold on his head.For thou hast met him with the blessings of goodness: thou hast set a crown of pure gold on his head.O my God, I shall cry by day, and thou wilt not hear: and by night, and it shall not be reputed as folly in me.
Psalms 21:4He asked life of thee, thou gavest it him, Even length of days for ever and ever. He asked life of you, you gave it to him, Even length of days forever and ever.He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it to him, even length of days for ever and ever.But thou dwellest in the holy place, the praise of Israel.
Psalms 21:5His glory is great in thy salvation: Honor and majesty dost thou lay upon him. His glory is great in your salvation. You lay honor and majesty on him.His glory is great in thy salvation: honor and majesty hast thou laid upon him.In thee have our fathers hoped: they have hoped, and thou hast delivered them.
Psalms 21:6For thou makest him most blessed for ever: Thou makest him glad with joy in thy presence. For you make him most blessed forever. You make him glad with joy in your presence.For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.They cried to thee, and they were saved: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
Psalms 21:7For the king trusteth in Jehovah; And through the lovingkindness of the Most High he shall not be moved. For the king trusts in Yahweh. Through the lovingkindness of the Most High, he shall not be moved.For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.But I am a worm, and no man: the reproach of men, and the outcast of the people.
Psalms 21:8Thy hand will find out all thine enemies; Thy right hand will find out those that hate thee. Your hand will find out all of your enemies. Your right hand will find out those who hate you.Thy hand shall find out all thy enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.All they that saw me have laughed me to scorn: they have spoken with the lips, and wagged the head.
Psalms 21:9Thou wilt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thine anger: Jehovah will swallow them up in his wrath, And the fire shall devour them. You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. Yahweh will swallow them up in his wrath. The fire shall devour them.Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thy anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.He hoped in the Lord, let him deliver him: let him save him, seeing he delighteth in him.
Psalms 21:10Their fruit wilt thou destroy from the earth, And their seed from among the children of men. You will destroy their descendants from the earth, Their posterity from among the children of men.Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.For thou art he that hast drawn me out of the womb: my hope from the breasts of my mother.
Psalms 21:11For they intended evil against thee; They conceived a device which they are not able to perform. For they intended evil against you. They plotted evil against you which cannot succeed.For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.I was cast upon thee from the womb. From my mother's womb thou art my God,
Psalms 21:12For thou wilt make them turn their back; Thou wilt make ready with thy bowstrings against their face. For you will make them turn their back, When you aim drawn bows at their face.Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thy arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.depart not from me. For tribulation is very near: for there is none to help me.
Psalms 21:13Be thou exalted, O Jehovah, in thy strength: So will we sing and praise thy power. Psalm 22 For the Chief Musician; set to Aijaleth hash-Shahar. A Psalm of David. Be exalted, Yahweh, in your strength, So we will sing and praise your power. Psalm 22 For the Chief Musician; set to "The Doe of the Morning." A Psalm by David.Be thou exalted, LORD, in thy own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.Many calves have surrounded me: fat bulls have besieged me.
