Psalms 61:1Hear my cry, O God; Attend unto my prayer. Hear my cry, God. Listen to my prayer.To the chief Musician upon Neginah, A Psalm of David. Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer.Unto the end, for Idithun, a psalm of David.
Psalms 61:2From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. From the end of the earth, I will call to you, when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.From the end of the earth will I cry to thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.Shall not my soul be subject to God? for from him is my salvation.
Psalms 61:3For thou hast been a refuge for me, A strong tower from the enemy. For you have been a refuge for me, A strong tower from the enemy.For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.For he is my God and my saviour: he is my protector, I shall be moved no more.
Psalms 61:4I will dwell in thy tabernacle for ever: I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. Selah I will dwell in your tent forever. I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Selah.I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.How long do you rush in upon a man? you all kill, as if you were thrusting down a leaning wall, and a tottering fence.
Psalms 61:5For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: Thou hast given [me] the heritage of those that fear thy name. For you, God, have heard my vows. You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.But they have thought to cast away my price; I ran in thirst: they blessed with their mouth, but cursed with their heart.
Psalms 61:6Thou wilt prolong the king's life; His years shall be as many generations. You will prolong the king's life; His years shall be for generations.Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations.But be thou, O my soul, subject to God: for from him is my patience.
Psalms 61:7He shall abide before God for ever: Oh prepare lovingkindness and truth, that they may preserve him. He shall be enthroned in God's presence forever. Appoint your lovingkindness and truth, that they may preserve him.He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.For he is my God and my saviour: he is my helper, I shall not be moved.
Psalms 61:8So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, That I may daily perform my vows. Psalm 62 For the Chief Musician; after the manner of Jeduthan. A Psalm of David. So I will sing praise to your name forever, That I may fulfill my vows daily. Psalm 62 For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthan. A Psalm by David.So will I sing praise to thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.In God is my salvation and my glory: he is the God of my help, and my hope is in God.
