Psalms 91:1Happy is he whose resting-place is in the secret of the Lord, and under the shade of the wings of the Most High;He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, In the shade of the Mighty lodgeth habitually,He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalms 91:2Who says of the Lord, He is my safe place and my tower of strength: he is my God, in whom is my hope.I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust. He is saying of Jehovah, `My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,`I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Psalms 91:3He will take you out of the bird-net, and keep you safe from wasting disease.For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. For He delivereth thee from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence.Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
Psalms 91:4You will be covered by his feathers; under his wings you will be safe: his good faith will be your salvation.He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler. With His pinion He covereth thee over, And under His wings thou dost trust, A shield and buckler [is] His truth.He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Psalms 91:5You will have no fear of the evil things of the night, or of the arrow in flight by day,Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Thou art not afraid of fear by night, Of arrow that flieth by day,Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Psalms 91:6Or of the disease which takes men in the dark, or of the destruction which makes waste when the sun is high.For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. Of pestilence in thick darkness that walketh, Of destruction that destroyeth at noon,Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noon-day.
Psalms 91:7You will see a thousand falling by your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you.A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; [But] it shall not come nigh thee. There fall at thy side a thousand, And a myriad at thy right hand, Unto thee it cometh not nigh.A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Psalms 91:8Only with your eyes will you see the reward of the evil-doers.Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, And see the reward of the wicked. But with thine eyes thou lookest, And the reward of the wicked thou seest,Only with thy eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Psalms 91:9Because you have said, I am in the hands of the Lord, the Most High is my safe resting-place;For thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge! Thou hast made the Most High thy habitation; (For Thou, O Jehovah, [art] my refuge,) The Most High thou madest thy habitation.Because thou hast made the LORD who is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation;
Psalms 91:10No evil will come on you, and no disease will come near your tent.There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent. Evil happeneth not unto thee, And a plague cometh not near thy tent,There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
Psalms 91:11For he will give you into the care of his angels to keep you wherever you go.For he will give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways. For His messengers He chargeth for thee, To keep thee in all thy ways,For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
Psalms 91:12In their hands they will keep you up, so that your foot may not be crushed against a stone.They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. On the hands they bear thee up, Lest thou smite against a stone thy foot.They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Psalms 91:13You will put your foot on the lion and the snake; the young lion and the great snake will be crushed under your feet.Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the serpent shalt thou trample under foot. On lion and asp thou treadest, Thou trampest young lion and dragon.Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Psalms 91:14Because he has given me his love, I will take him out of danger: I will put him in a place of honour, because he has kept my name in his heart.Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. Because in Me he hath delighted, I also deliver him I set him on high, Because he hath known My name.Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
Psalms 91:15When his cry comes up to me, I will give him an answer: I will be with him in trouble; I will make him free from danger and give him honour.He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him. He doth call Me, and I answer him, I [am] with him in distress, I deliver him, and honour him.He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.
Psalms 91:16With long life will he be rewarded; and I will let him see my salvation.With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation. Psalm 92 A Psalm, a Song for the sabbath day. With length of days I satisfy him, And I cause him to look on My salvation!With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.
