A Psalm of David: a Song.} Praise waiteth for thee in silence, O God, in Zion; and unto thee shall the vow be performed. | Unto the end, a canticle of a psalm of the resurrection. Shout with joy to God, all the earth, | Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion; And unto thee shall the vow be performed. |

| Psalms 65:3 | Evils have overcome us: but as for our sins, you will take them away. | Iniquities have prevailed against me: our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them. | Say unto God, How terrible are thy works, O Lord! in the multitude of thy strength thy enemies shall lie to thee. | Iniquities prevail against me: As for our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them. |
| Psalms 65:4 | Happy is the man of your selection, to whom you give a resting-place in your house; we will be full of the good things out of your holy place. | Blessed is he whom thou choosest and causest to approach: he shall dwell in thy courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, of thy holy temple. | Let all the earth adore thee, and sing to thee: let it sing a psalm to thy name. | Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach [unto thee], That he may dwell in thy courts: We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, Thy holy temple. |
| Psalms 65:5 | You will give us an answer in righteousness by great acts of power, O God of our salvation; you who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of the far-off lands of the sea; | By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation, thou confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the distant regions of the sea. ... | Come and see the works of God; who is terrible in his counsels over the sons of men. | By terrible things thou wilt answer us in righteousness, Oh God of our salvation, Thou that art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of them that are afar off upon the sea: |
| Psalms 65:6 | The God by whose strength the mountains are fixed; who is robed with power: | Who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with power; | Who turneth the sea into dry land, in the river they shall pass on foot: there shall we rejoice in him. | Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains, Being girded about with might; |
| Psalms 65:7 | Who makes the loud voice of the sea quiet, and puts an end to the sound of its waves. | Who stilleth the raging of the seas, the raging of their waves, and the tumult of the peoples. | Who by his power ruleth for ever: his eyes behold the nations; let not them that provoke him he exalted in themselves. | Who stilleth the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples. |

| Psalms 65:9 | You have given your blessing to the earth, watering it and making it fertile; the river of God is full of water: and having made it ready, you give men grain. | Thou hast visited the earth, thou hast watered it; thou greatly enrichest it: the river of God is full of water; thou providest their corn, when thou hast so prepared it: | Who hath set my soul to live: and hath not suffered my feet to be moved: | Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it, Thou greatly enrichest it; The river of God is full of water: Thou providest them grain, when thou hast so prepared the earth. |
