Psalms 86:1<A Prayer. Of David.> Let your ears be open to my voice, O Lord, and give me an answer; for I am poor and in need.{A Prayer of David.} Incline thine ear, Jehovah, answer me; for I am afflicted and needy. For the sons of Core, a psalm of a canticle. Psalms 86:3Have mercy on me, O Lord; for my cry goes up to you all the day.Be gracious unto me, O Lord; for unto thee do I call all the day.Glorious things are said of thee, O city of God.Be merciful unto me, O Lord; For unto thee do I cry all the day long.
Psalms 86:4Make glad the soul of your servant; for it is lifted up to you, O Lord.Rejoice the soul of thy servant; for unto thee, Lord, do I lift up my soul.I will be mindful of Rahab and of Babylon knowing me. Psalms 86:5You are good, O Lord, and full of forgiveness; your mercy is great to all who make their cry to you.For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, and art of great loving-kindness unto all that call upon thee.Shall not Sion say: This man and that man is born in her? and the Highest himself hath founded her.For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness unto all them that call upon thee.
Psalms 86:6O Lord, give ear to my prayer; and take note of the sound of my requests.Give ear, O Jehovah, unto my prayer, and attend to the voice of my supplications. The Lord shall tell in his writings of peoples and of princes, of them that have been in her.Give ear, O Jehovah, unto my prayer; And hearken unto the voice of my supplications.
Psalms 86:7In the day of my trouble I send up my cry to you; for you will give me an answer. In the day of my distress I will call upon thee, for thou wilt answer me.The dwelling in thee is as it were of all rejoicing. In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee; For thou wilt answer me.

Psalms 86:9Let all the nations whom you have made come and give worship to you, O Lord, giving glory to your name. All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorify thy name. All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; And they shall glorify thy name.

Psalms 86:11Make your way clear to me, O Lord; I will go on my way in your faith: let my heart be glad in the fear of your name.Teach me thy way, Jehovah; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.Teach me thy way, O Jehovah; I will walk in thy truth: Unite my heart to fear thy name.
Psalms 86:12I will give you praise, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will give glory to your name for ever.I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify thy name for evermore.I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; And I will glorify thy name for evermore.
Psalms 86:13For your mercy to me is great; you have taken my soul up from the deep places of the underworld. For great is thy loving-kindness toward me, and thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. For great is thy lovingkindness toward me; And thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.
Psalms 86:14O God, men of pride have come up against me, and the army of violent men would take my life; they have not put you before them.O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assembly of the violent seek after my soul, and they have not set thee before them.O God, the proud are risen up against me, And a company of violent men have sought after my soul, And have not set thee before them.

Psalms 86:17Give me a sign for good; so that my haters may see it and be shamed; because you, Lord, have been my help and comfort.Shew me a token for good, that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed; for thou, Jehovah, hast helped me and comforted me.Show me a token for good, That they who hate me may see it, and be put to shame, Because thou, Jehovah, hast helped me, and comforted me.
