| Psalms 62:1 | <To the chief music-maker. After Jeduthun. A Psalm. Of David.> My soul, put all your faith in God; for from him comes my salvation. | {To the chief Musician. On Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.} Upon God alone doth my soul rest peacefully; from him is my salvation. | A psalm of David when he was in the desert of Edom. | Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. |
| Psalms 62:2 | He only is my Rock and my salvation; he is my high tower; I will not be greatly moved. | He only is my rock and my salvation; my high fortress: I shall not be greatly moved. | O God, my God, to thee do I watch at break of day. For thee my soul hath thirsted; for thee my flesh, O how many ways! | He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. |

| Psalms 62:10 | Have no faith in the rewards of evil-doing, or in profits wrongly made: if your wealth is increased, do not put your hopes on it. | Put not confidence in oppression, and become not vain in robbery; if wealth increase, set not your heart upon it. | But they have sought my soul in vain, they shall go into the lower parts of the earth: | Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them. |

| Psalms 62:12 | And mercy, O Lord, is yours, for you give to every man the reward of his work. | And unto thee, O Lord, [belongeth] loving-kindness; for *thou* renderest to every man according to his work. | But the king shall rejoice in God, all they shall be praised that swear by him: because the mouth is stopped of them that speak wicked things. | Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work. |
