Psalms 32:2Happy is the man in whom the Lord sees no evil, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.Blessed is the man unto whom Jehovah reckoneth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile!Give praise to the Lord on the harp; sing to him with the psaltery, the instrument of ten strings.Blessed is the man to whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
Psalms 32:3When I kept my mouth shut, my bones were wasted, because of my crying all through the day. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old, through my groaning all the day long.Sing to him a new canticle, sing well unto him with a loud noise. When I kept silence, my bones became old through my roaring all the day long.
Psalms 32:4For the weight of your hand was on me day and night; my body became dry like the earth in summer. (Selah.)For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me; my moisture was turned into the drought of summer. Selah. For the word of the Lord is right, and all his works are done with faithfulness. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drouth of summer. Selah.
Psalms 32:5I made my wrongdoing clear to you, and did not keep back my sin. I said, I will put it all before the Lord; and you took away my wrongdoing and my sin. (Selah.)I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity I covered not; I said, I will confess my transgressions unto Jehovah, and *thou* forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. He loveth mercy and judgment; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.I acknowledged my sin to thee, and my iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
Psalms 32:6For this cause let every saint make his prayer to you at a time when you are near: then the overflowing of the great waters will not overtake him.For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee at a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they will not reach him.By the word of the Lord the heavens were established; and all the power of them by the spirit of his mouth:For this shall every one that is godly pray to thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh to him.
Psalms 32:7You are my safe and secret place; you will keep me from trouble; you will put songs of salvation on the lips of those who are round me. (Selah.)Thou art a hiding-place for me; thou preservest me from trouble; thou dost encompass me with songs of deliverance. Selah.Gathering together the waters of the sea, as in a vessel; laying up the depths in storehouses.Thou art my hiding place; thou wilt preserve me from trouble; thou wilt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Psalms 32:8I will give you knowledge, teaching you the way to go; my eye will be your guide.I will instruct thee and teach thee the way in which thou shalt go; I will counsel [thee] with mine eye upon thee.Let all the earth fear the Lord, and let all the inhabitants of the world be in awe of him.I will instruct thee, and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with my eye.
Psalms 32:9Do not be like the horse or the ass, without sense; ...Be ye not as a horse, as a mule, which have no understanding: whose trappings must be bit and bridle, for restraint, or they will not come unto thee. For he spoke and they were made: he commanded and they were created.Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near to thee.
Psalms 32:10The sinner will be full of trouble; but mercy will be round the man who has faith in the Lord. Many sorrows hath the wicked; but he that confideth in Jehovah, loving-kindness shall encompass him.The Lord bringeth to naught the counsels of nations; and he rejecteth the devices of people, and casteth away the counsels of princes. Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall encompass him.
Psalms 32:11Be glad in the Lord with joy, you upright men; give cries of joy, all you whose hearts are true.Rejoice in Jehovah, and be glad, ye righteous; and shout for joy, all ye upright in heart. But the counsel of the Lord standeth for ever: the thoughts of his heart to all generations.Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
