| Psalms 77:1 | <To the chief music-maker. After Jeduthun. Of Asaph. A Psalm.> I was crying to God with my voice; even to God with my voice, and he gave ear to me. | {To the chief Musician. On Jeduthun. Of Asaph. A Psalm.} My voice is unto God, and I will cry; my voice is unto God, and he will give ear unto me. | Understanding for Asaph. Attend, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth. | To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of Asaph. | Psalms 77:2 | In the day of my trouble, my heart was turned to the Lord: my hand was stretched out in the night without resting; my soul would not be comforted. | In the day of my trouble, I sought the Lord: my hand was stretched out in the night, and slacked not; my soul refused to be comforted. | I will open my mouth in parables: I will utter propositions from the beginning. | In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted. |
