Psalms 92:1<A Psalm. A Song for the Sabbath.> It is a good thing to give praise to the Lord, and to make melody to your name, O Most High;It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:It is a good thing to give thanks to Yahweh, To sing praises to your name, Most High;{A Psalm, a Song, for the Sabbath day.} It is good to give thanks unto Jehovah, and to sing psalms unto thy name, O Most High;
Psalms 92:2To make clear your mercy in the morning, and your unchanging faith every night;To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,To proclaim your lovingkindness in the morning, And your faithfulness every night,To declare thy loving-kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness in the nights,
Psalms 92:3On a ten-corded instrument, and on an instrument of music with a quiet sound.Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. With the ten-stringed lute, with the harp, And with the melody of the lyre.Upon an instrument of ten strings and upon the lute; upon the Higgaion with the harp.
Psalms 92:4For you, O Lord, have made me glad through your work; I will have joy in the works of your hands.For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.For you, Yahweh, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands.For thou, Jehovah, hast made me glad through thy work; I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
Psalms 92:5O Lord, how great are your works! and your thoughts are very deep.O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep. How great are your works, Yahweh! Your thoughts are very deep.Jehovah, how great are thy works! Thy thoughts are very deep:
Psalms 92:6A man without sense has no knowledge of this; and a foolish man may not take it in.A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. A senseless man doesn't know, Neither does a fool understand this:A brutish man knoweth not, neither doth a fool understand it.
Psalms 92:7When the sinners come up like the grass, and all the workers of evil do well for themselves, it is so that their end may be eternal destruction.When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:Though the wicked spring up as the grass, And all the evil-doers flourish, They will be destroyed forever.When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish, it is that they may be destroyed for ever.
Psalms 92:8But you, O Lord, are on high for ever.But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.But you, Yahweh, are on high forevermore.And thou, Jehovah, art on high for evermore.
Psalms 92:9For see! your haters, O Lord, will be put to death; all the workers of evil will be put to flight;For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.For, behold, your enemies, Yahweh, For, behold, your enemies shall perish. All the evil-doers will be scattered.For lo, thine enemies, O Jehovah, for lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
Psalms 92:10But my horn is lifted up like the horn of the ox: the best oil is flowing on my head.But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil.But my horn shalt thou exalt like a buffalo's: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
Psalms 92:11My eyes have seen trouble come on my haters; my ears have news of the fate of the evil-doers who have come up against me.Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.My eye has also seen my enemies, My ears have heard of the evil-doers who rise up against me.And mine eye shall see [its desire] on mine enemies; mine ears shall hear [it] of the evil-doers that rise up against me.
Psalms 92:12The good man will be like a tall tree in his strength; his growth will be as the wide-stretching trees of Lebanon.The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.The righteous shall shoot forth like a palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar on Lebanon.
Psalms 92:13Those who are planted in the house of the Lord will come up tall and strong in his gardens.Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.They are planted in Yahweh's house. They will flourish in our God's courts.Those that are planted in the house of Jehovah shall flourish in the courts of our God:
Psalms 92:14They will give fruit even when they are old; they will be fertile and full of growth;They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;They will still bring forth fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green,They are still vigorous in old age, they are full of sap and green;
Psalms 92:15For a sign that the Lord is upright; he is my Rock, there is no deceit in him.To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.To show that Yahweh is upright. He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. Psalm 93To shew that Jehovah is upright: [he is] my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
