| Psalms 96:1 | O make a new song to the Lord; let all the earth make melody to the Lord. | Sing to Jehovah a new song, Sing to Jehovah all the earth. | For the same David, when his land was restored again to him. The Lord hath reigned, let the earth rejoice: let many islands be glad. | O sing to the LORD a new song: sing to the LORD, all the earth. |
| Psalms 96:2 | Make songs to the Lord, blessing his name; give the good news of his salvation day by day. | Sing to Jehovah, bless His name, Proclaim from day to day His salvation. | Clouds and darkness are round about him: justice and judgment are the establishment of his throne. | Sing to the LORD, bless his name; show forth his salvation from day to day. |
| Psalms 96:3 | Make clear his glory to the nations, and his wonders to all the peoples. | Declare among nations His honour, Among all the peoples His wonders. | A fire shall go before him, and shall burn his enemies round about. | Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. |
| Psalms 96:4 | For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised; he is more to be feared than all other gods. | For great [is] Jehovah, and praised greatly, Fearful He [is] over all gods. | His lightnings have shone forth to the world: the earth saw and trembled. | For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. |
| Psalms 96:5 | For all the gods of the nations are false gods; but the Lord made the heavens. | For all the gods of the peoples [are] nought, And Jehovah made the heavens. | The mountains melted like wax, at the presence of the Lord: at the presence of the Lord of all the earth. | For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. |
| Psalms 96:6 | Honour and glory are before him: strong and fair is his holy place. | Honour and majesty [are] before Him, Strength and beauty in His sanctuary. | The heavens declared his justice: and all people saw his glory. | Honor and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. |
| Psalms 96:7 | Give to the Lord, O you families of the peoples, give to the Lord glory and strength. | Ascribe to Jehovah, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength. | Let them be all confounded that adore graven things, and that glory in their idols. Adore him, all you his angels: | Give to the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give to the LORD glory and strength. |
| Psalms 96:8 | Give to the Lord the glory of his name; take with you an offering and come into his house. | Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Lift up a present and come in to His courts. | Sion heard, and was glad. And the daughters of Juda rejoiced, because of thy judgments, O Lord. | Give to the LORD the glory due to his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. |
| Psalms 96:9 | O give worship to the Lord in holy robes; be in fear before him, all the earth. | Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the honour of holiness, Be afraid of His presence, all the earth. | For thou art the most high Lord over all the earth: thou art exalted exceedingly above all gods. | O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. |
| Psalms 96:10 | Say among the nations, The Lord is King; yes, the world is ordered so that it may not be moved; he will be an upright judge of the peoples. | Say among nations, `Jehovah hath reigned, Also established is the world, unmoved, He judgeth the peoples in uprightness.` | You that love the Lord, hate evil: the Lord preserveth the souls of his saints, he will deliver them out of the hand of the sinner. | Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he will judge the people righteously. |
| Psalms 96:11 | Let the heavens have joy and the earth be glad; let the sea be thundering with all its waters; | The heavens joy, and the earth is joyful, The sea and its fulness roar. | Light is risen to the just, and joy to the right of heart. | Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fullness of it. |
| Psalms 96:12 | Let the field be glad, and everything which is in it; yes, let all the trees of the wood be sounding with joy, | The field exulteth, and all that [is] in it, Then sing do all trees of the forest, | Rejoice, ye just, in the Lord: and give praise to the remembrance of his holiness. | Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice before the LORD: |
| Psalms 96:13 | Before the Lord, for he is come; he is come to be the judge of the earth; the earth will be judged in righteousness, and the peoples with unchanging faith. | Before Jehovah, for He hath come, For He hath come to judge the earth. He judgeth the world in righteousness, And the peoples in His faithfulness! | | For he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth. |
