| Psalms 42:1 | <To the chief music-maker. Maschil. Of the sons of Korah.> Like the desire of the roe for the water-streams, so is my soul's desire for you, O God. | To the Overseer. An Instruction. | Psalms 42:2 | My soul is dry for need of God, the living God; when may I come and see the face of God? | My soul thirsted for God, for the living God, When do I enter and see the face of God? | For thou art God my strength : why hast thou cast me off? and why do I go sorrowful whilst the enemy afflicteth me? | |
