Psalms 92:1<A Psalm. A Song for the Sabbath.> It is a good thing to give praise to the Lord, and to make melody to your name, O Most High;A Psalm. A Song for the sabbath-day. Good to give thanks to Jehovah, And to sing praises to Thy name, O Most High,The Lord hath reigned, he is clothed with beauty: the Lord is clothed with strength, and hath girded himself. For he hath established the world which shall not be moved.It is a good thing to give thanks to Yahweh, To sing praises to your name, Most High;
Psalms 92:2To make clear your mercy in the morning, and your unchanging faith every night;To declare in the morning Thy kindness, And Thy faithfulness in the nights.Thy throne is prepared from of old: thou art from everlasting.To proclaim your lovingkindness in the morning, And your faithfulness every night,
Psalms 92:3On a ten-corded instrument, and on an instrument of music with a quiet sound.On ten strings and on psaltery, On higgaion, with harp.The floods have lifted up, O Lord: the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves,With the ten-stringed lute, with the harp, And with the melody of the lyre.
Psalms 92:4For you, O Lord, have made me glad through your work; I will have joy in the works of your hands.For Thou hast caused me to rejoice, O Jehovah, in Thy work, Concerning the works of Thy hands I sing.with the noise of many waters. Wonderful are the surges of the sea: wonderful is the Lord on high.For you, Yahweh, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands.
Psalms 92:5O Lord, how great are your works! and your thoughts are very deep.How great have been Thy works, O Jehovah, Very deep have been Thy thoughts.Thy testimonies are become exceedingly credible: holiness becometh thy house, O Lord, unto length of days.How great are your works, Yahweh! Your thoughts are very deep.
Psalms 92:6A man without sense has no knowledge of this; and a foolish man may not take it in.A brutish man doth not know, And a fool understandeth not this;A senseless man doesn't know, Neither does a fool understand this:
Psalms 92:7When the sinners come up like the grass, and all the workers of evil do well for themselves, it is so that their end may be eternal destruction.When the wicked flourish as a herb, And blossom do all workers of iniquity For their being destroyed for ever and ever!Though the wicked spring up as the grass, And all the evil-doers flourish, They will be destroyed forever.
Psalms 92:8But you, O Lord, are on high for ever.And Thou [art] high to the age, O Jehovah.But you, Yahweh, are on high forevermore.
Psalms 92:9For see! your haters, O Lord, will be put to death; all the workers of evil will be put to flight;For, lo, Thine enemies, O Jehovah, For, lo, Thine enemies, do perish, Separate themselves do all workers of iniquity.For, behold, your enemies, Yahweh, For, behold, your enemies shall perish. All the evil-doers will be scattered.
Psalms 92:10But my horn is lifted up like the horn of the ox: the best oil is flowing on my head.And Thou exaltest as a reem my horn, I have been anointed with fresh oil.But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil.
Psalms 92:11My eyes have seen trouble come on my haters; my ears have news of the fate of the evil-doers who have come up against me.And mine eye looketh on mine enemies, Of those rising up against me, The evil doers, do mine ears hear.My eye has also seen my enemies, My ears have heard of the evil-doers who rise up against me.
Psalms 92:12The good man will be like a tall tree in his strength; his growth will be as the wide-stretching trees of Lebanon.The righteous as a palm-tree flourisheth, As a cedar in Lebanon he groweth.The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Psalms 92:13Those who are planted in the house of the Lord will come up tall and strong in his gardens.Those planted in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of our God do flourish.They are planted in Yahweh's house. They will flourish in our God's courts.
Psalms 92:14They will give fruit even when they are old; they will be fertile and full of growth;Still they bring forth in old age, Fat and flourishing are they,They will still bring forth fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green,
Psalms 92:15For a sign that the Lord is upright; he is my Rock, there is no deceit in him.To declare that upright [is] Jehovah my rock, And there is no perverseness in Him!To show that Yahweh is upright. He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. Psalm 93
