| Proverbs 7:1 | My son, keep my sayings, and let my rules be stored up with you. | My son! keep my sayings, And my commands lay up with thee. | | My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. |
| Proverbs 7:2 | Keep my rules and you will have life; let my teaching be to you as the light of your eyes; | Keep my commands, and live, And my law as the pupil of thine eye. | | Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thy eye. |
