Psalms 14:1{To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David.} The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They have corrupted themselves, they have done abominable works: there is none that doeth good.The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works; There is none that doeth good.
Psalms 14:2Jehovah looked down from the heavens upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.Jehovah looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, That did seek after God.
Psalms 14:3They have all gone aside, they are together become corrupt: there is none that doeth good, not even one.They are all gone aside; they are together become filthy; There is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Psalms 14:4Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, eating up my people [as] they eat bread? They call not upon Jehovah.Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people [as] they eat bread, And call not upon Jehovah?
Psalms 14:5There were they in great fear; for God is in the generation of the righteous.There were they in great fear; For God is in the generation of the righteous.
Psalms 14:6Ye have shamed the counsel of the afflicted, because Jehovah [was] his refuge.Ye put to shame the counsel of the poor, Because Jehovah is his refuge.
Psalms 14:7Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When Jehovah turneth again the captivity of his people, Jacob shall be glad, Israel shall rejoice.Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When Jehovah bringeth back the captivity of his people, Then shall Jacob rejoice, [and] Israel shall be glad. Psalm 15 A Psalm of David.
