Proverbs 10:3Jehovah suffereth not the soul of the righteous [man] to famish; but he repelleth the craving of the wicked. The Lord will not let the upright be in need of food, but he puts far from him the desire of the evil-doers.The Lord will not afflict the soul of the just with famine, and he will disappoint the deceitful practices of the wicked. The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.
Proverbs 10:4He cometh to want that dealeth with a slack hand; but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.He who is slow in his work becomes poor, but the hand of the ready worker gets in wealth. The slothful hand hath wrought poverty: but the hand of the industrious getteth riches. He that trusteth to lies feedeth the winds: and the same runneth after birds that fly away.He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
Proverbs 10:5He that gathereth in summer is a wise son; he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. He who in summer gets together his store is a son who does wisely; but he who takes his rest when the grain is being cut is a son causing shame. He that gathered in the harvest is a wise son: but he that snorteth in the summer, is the son of confusion. He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.
Proverbs 10:6Blessings are upon the head of a righteous [man]; but the mouth of the wicked covereth violence.Blessings are on the head of the upright, but the face of sinners will be covered with sorrow. The blessing of the Lord is upon the head of the just: but iniquity covereth the mouth of the wicked.Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
Proverbs 10:7The memory of the righteous [man] shall be blessed; but the name of the wicked shall rot.The memory of the upright is a blessing, but the name of the evil-doer will be turned to dust. The memory of the just is with praises: and the name of the wicked shall rot.The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall perish.
Proverbs 10:8The wise in heart receiveth commandments; but a prating fool shall fall. The wise-hearted man will let himself be ruled, but the man whose talk is foolish will have a fall. The wise of heart receiveth precepts: a fool is beaten with lips. The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.
Proverbs 10:9He that walketh in integrity walketh securely; but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. He whose ways are upright will go safely, but he whose ways are twisted will be made low.He that walketh sincerely, walketh confidently: but he that perverteth his ways, shall be manifest. He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
Proverbs 10:10He that winketh with the eye causeth grief, and a prating fool shall fall.He who makes signs with his eyes is a cause of trouble, but he who makes a man see his errors is a cause of peace. He that winketh with the eye shall cause sorrow: and the foolish in lips shall be beaten. He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall.

Proverbs 10:13In the lips of an intelligent [man] wisdom is found; but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding. In the lips of him who has knowledge wisdom is seen; but a rod is ready for the back of him who is without sense. In the lips of the wise is wisdom found: and a rod on the back of him that wanteth sense. In the lips of him that hath understanding wisdom is found: but a rod is for the back of him that is void of understanding.
Proverbs 10:14The wise lay up knowledge; but the mouth of the fool is near destruction.Knowledge is stored up by the wise, but the mouth of the foolish man is a destruction which is near.Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the fool is next to confusion.Wise men lay up knowledge: but the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.

Proverbs 10:16The labour of a righteous [man] [tendeth] to life; the revenue of a wicked [man], to sin.The work of the upright gives life: the increase of the evil-doer is a cause of sin.The work of the just is unto life: but the fruit of the wicked, unto sin.The labor of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.
Proverbs 10:17Keeping instruction is the path to life; but he that forsaketh reproof goeth astray. He who takes note of teaching is a way of life, but he who gives up training is a cause of error. The way of life, to him that observeth correction: but he that forsaketh reproofs goeth astray. He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.
Proverbs 10:18He that covereth hatred hath lying lips, and he that sendeth forth a slander is a fool.Hate is covered up by the lips of the upright man, but he who lets out evil about another is foolish.Lying lips hide hatred: he that uttereth reproach is foolish. He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.
Proverbs 10:19In the multitude of words there wanteth not transgression; but he that restraineth his lips doeth wisely.Where there is much talk there will be no end to sin, but he who keeps his mouth shut does wisely. In the multitude of words there shall not want sin: but he that refraineth his lips is most wise.In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that restraineth his lips is wise.
Proverbs 10:20The tongue of the righteous [man] is [as] choice silver; the heart of the wicked is little worth. The tongue of the upright man is like tested silver: the heart of the evil-doer is of little value. The tongue of the just is as choice silver: but the heart of the wicked is nothing worth. The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.

Proverbs 10:25As a whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no [more]; but the righteous is an everlasting foundation. When the storm-wind is past, the sinner is seen no longer, but the upright man is safe for ever.As a tempest that passeth, so the wicked shall be no more: but the just is as an everlasting foundation. As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.
