| Psalms 1:1 | Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, and standeth not in the way of sinners, and sitteth not in the seat of scorners; | Happy is the man who does not go in the company of sinners, or take his place in the way of evil-doers, or in the seat of those who do not give honour to the Lord. | Blessed is the man who hath not walked in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stood in the way of sinners, nor sat in the chair of pestilence. | Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers. |
| Psalms 1:2 | But his delight is in Jehovah's law, and in his law doth he meditate day and night. | But whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and whose mind is on his law day and night. | But his will is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he shall meditate day and night. | But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. |

And his leaf shall not fall off: and all whosoever he shall do shall prosper. | And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth its fruit in season; its leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he doeth shall prosper. |

| Psalms 1:5 | Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. | For this cause there will be no mercy for sinners when they are judged, and the evil-doers will have no place among the upright, | Therefore the wicked shall not rise again in judgment: nor sinners in the council of the just. | Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. |
